  1. Not sure if its me but the fight choreography in Ahsoka seems to be lacking a little bit. Maybe they will save the best parts for a final duel perhaps.
  2. I enjoyed Trace Memory on the DS.
  3. The floaty space footage they showed reminds me of Space Zone in Super Mario Land 2.They should try and do away with the standard Desert/Fire/Water etc levels/worlds IMO unless they have a bit of a twist or are fused with other themes. They are serviceable but Nintendo are capable of being more creative in this area IMO.
  4. I had Enter the Gecko and Deep Cover Gecko back in the day. Probably aren't classics in retrospect but provided reasonable entertainment at the time.
  5. They aired Biden's fall over here (UK) on the TV News. Was surprised it made it actually since it isn't the first time. Must've been a fairly slow day in headline news.
  6. Looks like the pressure is now on the next 3D Mario which can't be that far off now, right?
  7. Elon Musk Full Video Interview with BBC - YouTube Musk had a BBC interview recently which got quite intense at a few moments (particularly about freedom of speech / hate speech).
  8. Daredevil: Born Again Casts Jon Bernthal as The Punisher – The Hollywood Reporter
  9. I want to see Cocaine Bear. Does that make me a bad person?
  10. To pass my ACCA exams (didn't sit them this year although have been studying the syllabus) and to get more proficient at cooking. Joshua Weissman's YouTube channel has inspired me a bit.
  11. Violent Night is pretty enjoyable and pretty much what I hoped it would be. A little bit of Die Hard, a little bit of Home Alone and a little bit of Bad Santa.
  12. This was one of those games where you wish there wasn't a loser at the end of it. I was rooting for Argentina though (even after the anti English Falklands chants ) as I thought it would be nice for Messi to get it. I would've liked Morocco to be the runner up but oh well.
  13. Was in the mood for an action film so watched Ronin yesterday for the first time. I really enjoyed it. There's no fat in the film at all, its constantly moving with no subplots that go nowhere and no love interest character cliches. Just straight to the point. I would have to assume this film was an influence on the Bourne films with the European setting and extended driving scenes in pretty modest vehicles. The driving action scenes are very good, some of the best I've seen in a 90's action film.
  14. Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio is good. Just saw Pearl and Barbarian too. Pearl was fantastic although I'm a bit more undecided on how much I enjoyed Barbarian although don't think its a bad film.
  15. I would've preferred the USA going through. Greece won Euro 2004 and I wouldn't mind someone unexpected winning this World Cup since the competition has raised so many eyebrows so far.
  16. Belgium are out too. The 2nd best International team according to the Fifa world rankings. This competition's results are really surprising and if I was a betting man, I would've lost money by now, no doubt. France (the winners of the last World Cup) lost to Tunisia.
  17. The BBC comments section on the England vs Wales game is brutal. I suppose its Karma for the Welsh team celebrating after the England vs Iceland debacle.
  18. The USA vs Iran fixture will be interesting and I'm looking forward to the England vs USA match a bit later too. Bale was invisible against Iran today.
  19. New Chili Peppers album is basically Unlimited Love 2.0. IMO that's not a major problem but I kinda hoped it would be a bit more distinctive.
  20. I had quite a lot of symptoms, I think most of the symptoms actually and that was after x3 jabs. I was pretty surprised how little the jabs seemed to minimise the symptoms. It did keep me out of hospital though so I don't regret getting them.
  21. I saw Predator for the first time recently after hearing about Prey and was really impressed by it, particularly the special effects which I expected to look quite dated. It's pretty impressive what you can do with a good concept even with a small cast. It's hard not to like Arnie's one liners too ('Stick around', 'Get to the chopper').
  22. Thor: Love and Thunder is OK'ish. Christian Bale definitely elevated it IMO as it might of been near Thor 2 levels otherwise.
  23. I've only seen Us once. When it comes to horror films, I often find I enjoy the films more before a big reveal and once the big reveal happens, it loses something. I think that may apply to this film.
  24. Just saw Nope but not really sure what to make of it. I can't say I wouldn't recommend seeing it once though.
