Pokemon y, it's alright outside of the fact that it still feels like one big battle/collecting grind
it has always been like that lol
Which is why he said, "... still feels like...", emphasis on the still.
I am not argueing that, I am argueing that people shouldn't expect anything different

spent my weekend enjoying FarCry3, great game
liking the crafting stuff, the world is fin to explore, taking my time with each zone, some glitches here and there, but overall a great experience.
-
btw anyone here plays Spelunky?
been addicted to it lately
amazing game

Journey - amazing game
Hitman Absolution - love the setting, not really digging the mechanics.
Guacamelee - still working my way though it
-

-
Put some serious time on Guacamelee last night, god I love the game, presentation is excellent, controls are tight and the world is pretty fucking clever.

Plopped about 20 hours into NNK so far, at Hamelin, and I think I'm about halfway or at least it feels that way. Still enjoying it, some of the side quests are becoming a real chore but I do them all anyway. Game should've had a gambit system.
you still have another 8 or so

Giving Dark Souls a serious play through, finally.
This game is rejuvenating my faith in RPGs.
The game is more megaman than RPGS thou, trial and error.
-
started Scott Pilgrim: the videogame
I like it, I dig the food/music/ rpg elements to it, I just wish the controls were a bit more responsive.
-
And it stacks with the stamp card buff? After how grim TLoU is this bright and colorful game is welcomed lol.
yeah it is a stamp.

I believe so, I know when your evolve them they start right back at level 1 which is retarded since it takes even longer to level them up and hence why you have to go back to older areas sometimes to level up. But usually they can sit in your party while your main familiars do the work. I posted a picture of a place where you can gain extremely easy levels when you get the ship, it's an island north west of the continent where you started the game, easy cash and easy money you'll be so over levelled lol.
The smart thing to do is to evolve one at a time, dont evolve them all at once, also keep in mind some of the tricks are only learned in the first and second evolutions, so you may have to wait for a lvl 38 to in phase 2 to learn a new trick before you can evolve them.

Started Ni No Kuni yesterday, put like 10 hours into it.
Really digging it, the grinding must be later in the game because I have yet to come across a situation where id need to grind.
tbh If you do most of the sidequest which are pretty easy, you wont find any trouble. If you there are a couple of spots to gain some levels quickly, get yourself a pirate cat as soon as you can

Binary Domain - A few more hours in, I dig it not in a this is the best third person shooter ever, but in a "this game has a lot of potential" way. Suffers from a terrible start but once you move to the 3rd hour or so, things start to pick up The dialog system is kinda lame tbh, and the dialog itself is cringe worthy. the rpg elements are a nice addition. So far I've been sticking with Bo and Faye, fuck the british douchebags.
XCOM - damn I download this last friday
Hits the same keys as Civ 5, not sure what is it about firzaxis Games, they just make me want to play another minuted, another half hour and then 5 hrs later you realize its 3AM in the morning and you need to go to sleep. This one right here will be my 4th of july weekend game, I can see myself playing this A LOT.
Labyrinth Legends - this is the indie dungeon crawler that came out on PSN last year, free for PSN+ subs this month. I like it so far, it has great ideas too bad the graphics themselves are kinda generic, they look like fucking Zynga games, however the game itself is a nice mix of Puzzle and RPG, levels are short enough to replay but they aint easy. I would like to see a sequel with better prod values.

Knytt underground - really cool indie platformer, beautiful game
Now to give bynary domain a second spin
what happened on the first try that made you stop? The gunplay and some of those early sections are so fucking generic, this time i am paying more attention to the story and tbh i kinda like it, once you get out of the sewers cool shit starts to happen

Holy shit, GTA IV is so clunky after playing Max Payne 3. :(
yup, its clunky even without Max Payne; #1 reason why I havent gotten into GTA games.

Got TLOU this morning
Decided to try The Walking Dead this weekend, got Season 1 for $10 during the PSN E3 sale
and holy shit this game owns
I was eskeptical about it first, the graphics are not that sharp but the gameplay and story wuickly won me over, perhaps the best $10 I spent this generation.
Love the choices, they do a better job than ass effect
Lmao there was a ridiculously long thread at the Coli about how TWD games present choices better than the mass effect series. I agree for the most part
Its sad really, TWD presents it, develops it better, I love how you trully never know who the other person is, its never black or white

Knowing consoles specs WELL ahead of when they are "officially" announced doesn't require believing everything you read on the net. It involves knowing what is credible and what isn't. I can tell the difference. You obviously can't.

Tokyo Jungle - amazing gem, totally unexpected, trully fun game.
Far Cry 3 - took a break from it this week, now I understand the complaints about running too long.
