  1. Halfway through Mass Effect 3 - Bioware level design kinda sucks, most of the side missions revolve around a small level with multiple repeating sections where a)you have to turn on/off, retrieve something or protect something for a determined time until extraction. B) enemies spawning out of nowhere is really annoying. - Dream sequences suck ass, stop. - Not having the choice to change armor before heading to mission is not good design, we are able to change loadout and skills but not armor :Jeff: - The loading times in the Normandy are really annoying, all that shit should be in one room, I dont care about the having an actual weapons bench if I have to load floors every single time, just give me a virtual desk at that point right next to the war room and space map. On the handheld end, I finished Knights in the Nightmare, next Suikoden DS

  2. picked up ME3, Amalur and Uncharted 3 at Target

ME3 starts nice, the dreadnaught are amazing. however like any other epic game it fails to make sense. How can a single ship just get out of earth when they are fucking surrounded by Reapers? :|

other than that the shooting feels better, still janky. But the story and dialog is more focused.

Im sure the Normandy wasnt the ONLY ship that got away. Plus Joker is like...really good lol

:lul: also is it just me or ammo is a lot more plpentiful this time around?

the smgs still suck ass :poop:

    • Uncharted 2 - finished the game this past weekend, GOTG.
    • Bulletstorm - picked this one from the Best Buy sale over the weekend, already beat it. the combat is good but the dialog and story telling is fucking trash, I wish developers would include a subtitles only option. The setting is good, I wish PCF would have created a more cohesive story, the ending was a little abrupt. Parts of the game remind me of Halo with the entire ship in flames in the background, huge vistas and really linear path :|. I have no interest in the mp, or replaying the same sections over and over for points, I think this game offers all it has in its first play through around 5-6 hours.
    • Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom - I wanted to play something different in look and feel, only played 20-40 minutes but I am already getting an ICO-like vibe from this game, so far the $15 I paid for it are paying off.
  3. Trying out Dragon Age Origins and The Witcher. Just off of initial impressions I'd say Dragon Age is going to be magnificent. Witcher? Not so much. It seems really low budget and the fight with that stupid Frightener is a pretty lame boss fight. The opening of DAO has me hooked. I think this game may make me put all the others on the back burner.

    Dragon Age Origins = :corns:

The Witcher (so far) = :Jeff:

DAO is amazing, btw halfway through the game the game you are going to the fade its gonna suck there is a mod that skips that bs, let me know if you want it.
  4. so alpha protocol.... its pretty awesome

One of the most underrated games of the year. B)I am loving it to be honest, sure the controls are not very polished, but the world, the characters and dialog are great, if this game had the polish of a bioware game it would be one of the best games this gen.

I just finished everything in moscow, I am digging this game a lot:glad::glad::glad:
