I went into the first with zero hype and was pleasantly surprised. It was short and half-baked but the potential was there.

Sadly they never did anything with this potential. 2 was a step sideways. They improved some things, and made some things worse. Agreed with this having an absolutepy terrible boss/ending.

Fable 3 was a steaming pile of crap without any redeeming features.

The same people who troll the PS showcase threads telling you the games aren't good enough, aren't impressive, look bland etc are the same ones who shill these threads with comments like "killing it" "looks amazing" "we have the best lineup".

They've been doing this schtick for over a decade, and what happens is those PS games tend to release to AA - AAA scores and perform well. The Xbox games either get cancelled, release to 5.0 - 7.0 scores, and underperform.

Meanwhile these people insist they're the arbiters of quality. Only they are qualified to judge how good a game looks.

Anything decent from this showcase has been bought and will be multiplat anyway. The homegrown stuff will end up lile the usual MS games, PD and Fable have that same, bland, corporate wokeness we're used to seeing from Microsoft by now. These devs can't make and aren't interested in making good games, it's more about sending a message.

It had its moments but it also had its flaws. The difference in playability between this and Horizon was night and day.

I think a 7/10 is a fair score for it. That's a "playable and decent game with flaws 7", but I get that 7/10 can be seen as terrible on todays 7-10 scape of rating games.

It would easily be a 9/10 on Xbox.

The entire gen has been heldback by this monstrosity. Xbox has essentially created a lost generation.

The developer should have just skipped Xflop and gone PS/PC only.
