  1. All I"m seeing are bitter fucking lemshits :hest:

They really thought Xflop Series X would have its day, that the dream would come to life and this would outshine PS5 across the board with its power. Not only did that dream fail to materialize with PS5 often outperforming it, but now with Pro on the way that will never happen and PS will be leaps and bounds better than the X.

Look at how angry they're getting at the mere existance of PS5 Pro.

This thing is going to flop so hard, it serves no fucking function.

Games already scale to 4K through alternative rendering, the 99th percentile of games are already 60 FPS.

Absolutely moronic product trying to fill a non-existent void.

    The fucking tears :tom:

Power matter when it was "teh 12teraflop monster" but suddenly it doesn't now that Xflop is about to be leapfrogged.

A computer and a handheld have completely different requirements. Handhelds need to be optimized for quick use and low battery usage. Something that WIndows is terrible at with all its bloatware, forced updates, and terrible battery optimization. Linux is way better handheld OS than Windows is and it's not even close. It has nothing to do with hating Windows or any of that shit. Windows is good as a general purpose PC OS but it's terrible as a handheld OS. It's why every handheld released so far that uses it ends up being garbage and inferior to the Steam Deck.

    Disagree.

Last good Windows was 7. That was over a decade ago.

Windows 10 is quite possibly the worst software ever made.

W11 seems a bit more reliable but also goes harder on taking control away from the end user.

  4. The experience on all of these look awkward. Windows alone is pretty bad for a handheld with all of its forced bullshit and intrusive updates, then you have these half-baked apps/interfaces on top of it by the hardware manufacturer.

Steamdeck is leagues ahead but even that can be a little janky/buggy at times.

I think sacrificing a bit of compatability for using a customizable os with a small footprint is definitely the way forward. Most manufacturers probably don't want to put in the work though for a niche product.

  5. Maybe it's because Microsoft has a history of this sort of thing. You need a microsoft account just to play local 2 player on xbox :cosby2: You need a microsoft account to use windows now, and you're forced to download an xbox app to view certain xbox messages.

They have a history of forcing their shit on you so I'm not surprised peoppe are suspicious.

  6. Because the people running the asylym don't argue with the inmates, they just let them rant and rave.

You're that lunatic Jerry. You always think you know best, think you know whats going on and what everything means, convince you have never been wrong in the 20 years you've been doing this shit :drake: We're content to let you keep ranting about how right you are in your padded room :reg:

You can tell he's fishing for arguments tonight. Friday night and he needs a way to entertain himself. I bet he's cracked open a bottle and been looking forward to this all day :lul:

Lemij dont bite. Dont make his evening for him.

  7. And there we have the flip-flop :trump:

All that bragging about the OLED and how they couldn't go back, and now it's reduced to..."well actually Nintendo's LCD screens still look great....just not that one"

An LCD is still an LCD. Sheep will once again shit all over LCD the moment Switch 2 OLED is available and they're milked for the hardware refresh.

And people who want more power sooner are free to buy whatever other device come along in the meantime...

Same library of games works on them all.  Steam :smoke:

Yeah there's a sweet spot with a device like Steamdeck. You want to have it longterm like a console for the reasons Valve mentions above, but with it being a PC the hardware will be updating every year and new devices release all the time, its not like the console market where 3 companies put out 1 product around the same time and that's it for 7 years.

Hopefully Valve can find that sweet spot. You wouldn't want any less than 3 years, but probably not more than 5 either.

But yeah either way it wont be abandoned like Nintendo systems are since it will still be getting gamed and indies can keep this going for years long after AAA games become too much.

I wonder if thats why sheep are so bitter, they know their systems are always dropped like a ton of bricks :drake:

    No it isn't.

These people are already getting tired of that thing.

The hard-core PC enthusiasts are ready to move onto to whatever PC hardware maker makes a sleeker, more powerful unit, and they'll buy that immediately.

The rest. Who are casual or curious people who bought it, are probably not playing much on it anymore besides the most basic of indie 2d games.

Steam, once again, loses interest and never follows through on their projects.

They almost certainly didn't commit to any long term contract with OEM suppliers, so they've been buying AMD off the shelf parts.

The moment AMD stops producing it (because AMD will absolutely update their boards with the next series of APU) Valve no longer has stock.

Why do youthink you see the thing already be on sale?

    They're clearing out stock.

And you're trying to spin this as a good thing. :drake:

You're wrong :lawl:From top to bottom that post it just wrong. On every point, you're actually wrong.

    Buffoon. :pffft:

Steam deck owners aka Beta testers have been owned :kaz:

A take so retarded, you'd think it came from a Lemming.

It's a lose-lose for Valve when it comes to Sheep. If they release too soon the haters will say they abandoned the original leaving owners in the dust, if they release too late they will say not enough power.

Steamdeck is clearly designed to have more console like longevity than constant hardware refreshes. This is a good thing.

All you lying furry faced little bastards :fatcruise:

Xbox will now be judged on its Series S performance since that's the experience for the majority of Xbox series owners.

Sub-HD gaming here we come  512p, 492p, how low can it go!

  12. https://www.ign.com/articles/leaked-microsoft-documents-show-the-xbox-series-s-might-be-more-popular-than-you-think

Omfg all the lying RAT bastards here who were acting like it was the other way around :kaz:

This means when Microsoft LIES (like they always do) about parity i.e. Baldur's Gate 3, 75% of the userbase is now missing those features.

This shit probably has more games under 720p resolution than Switch does :roff: Xbox Series S performance is the norm for most xbox owners, not the exception!

  13. I hate when corporations do this. They were told to fuck off last gen, and instead of realizing they were wrong they just play the long game instead and push on towards their goals - because it gives them all the control, not you.

Sadly they're all going digital, in which case I'll stick with PC.

  14. 13 hours ago, FIREPOWER said:

    Exactly.

They are willing to take huge losses so that they can corner the market.

When they outspend their competitors and push them out of the market, they'll be the only show in town and free to raise prices as they see fit.

It's what we've been telling retarded lemshits for years now but the morons only see "cheap games" and are willing to sell out their hobby to a trillion dollar corporation for quick gratification.

I don't know why this shit isn't obvious to some people. It's the "long game" that Phil keeps talking about in the leaked emails.

It was obvious to anyone with a brain....but the problem is anyone with a brain wouldn't be buying Xbox and certainly wouldn't be supporting Microsoft.

Corporations like Microsoft are fuelled by the simple minded and gullible.

This company has NO ACTUAL INTEREST in making video games.

If they can't zerg rush to corner the market, then they're not interested in sharing one-third of the market with two other platforms.

Microsoft in a nutshell, I've been saying this for over 20 years.

Everyone cheering as they buy up publishers and developers now, these studios will be torn apart when Microsoft leaves. Microsoft will certainly have no incentive to keep them going.

We're in a thread celebrating new improvements to the Steam Deck.... and you wanna talk about Ally because nobody here gives a shit about it.   :drake:

Hell, I've basically been telling you "hey Twinky, _________ would be great to play on your Ally" multiple times now... And let's not forget you're the retarded bitch who bought some other POS device and returned it because it sucked... meanwhile we're all still playing our Decks here..:danylol:

He just went from shit device to shit device because for some reason he has a hate boner for Valve :hest:

And he basically admitted the Ally is lacklustre, but he's learned to settle with it just so he can stick it to the Steamdeck.

I wonder where Gabe touched him :face:
