Teams freezing like that sounds like people using it on laptops a few years old. Windows always performs like absolute shit on laptops. For me it’s Excel on W10 that takes 5 minutes to do things. Just trash software all around.

MS Teams is the kind of dogshit, poorly designed, poorly implemented software that only Microsoft could come up with.

I knew this would be Shamepass before I even clicked on the thread. Microsoft must be throwing hundreds of these dollar store experiences on that platform. Just endless forgettable trash that wouldn’t find any success on XBLA so gets moved to Shamepass to pad out the library.

Finally got Doom Eternal, better late than never. I'll be honest I'm not so keen on some of the mechanics, like low ammo with the idea that you keep chainsawing every few enemies to replenish.

Also Retrowave. There's not much of a game to it at the moment but it was just over $1 and how can you not love this aesthetic?

Beyond that I've been playing some retro games and it's amazing how good some Gamecube games look when you run them at 1440p or higher. NIntendo missed an opportunity not re-releasing these.

Yeah the space levels were less straight forward than the Earth levels. Weird game in retrospect, the first few and final few levels were great but the space levels in between were nowhere near as memorable.

The Abyss sucks balls. Worst map in the game.

I could never get into this as a kid, I think I couldn't find where to go. I stuck with Doom and Duke Nukem on my trusty Saturn

It seems to have a cult classic status though so I'll give it a go. I bought Forsaken from them not long ago, I wasn't even a fan of that game but I guess I'm at an age now where I'm stuck playing golden oldies.

Same guy takes a look at emulation on the Aya Neo (Ryzen 4500U, but vega graphics)

and this guy goes over how much performance improvement we can expect the Deck to have vs the Aya Neo

Essentially if we use Aya neo as a base it's pretty good and the Deck will be even better.
