  1. I remember sending it in, getting a different console back, and 1-2 weeks later it would break again :monkas:

Then "you know, things break" Peter Moore announces 360 was FUBAR and they would extend the warranty and suddenly the turn around time became 5 fucking weeks once you sent your console in as the repair centres were overwhelmed.

I remember within the launch period as RROD problems were being reported, xbox fansites made up some conspiracy theory about "project lightflame" the idea being that Sony was paying third parties to go around making up false claims of hardware issues and that in reality there were no hardware problems with 360. Looking for it now it appears to have been scrubbed from the internet  But it seems xbox fansites were always shady as fuck.

  2. You just know somewhere out there jonb snd dynaflop are trying to convince people its actually "pretty fun" and way more interesting than Horizon or GoW :cruise:

I anticipate Mala making a thread stating exactly that 6 months from now.

Lol, maybe one day you'll decide to actually play games instead of just talking about them.

Doubtful, I think its painfully obvious jerry gets more joy out of arguing with people online than he could ever get out of any videogame.

PS3 had a high defect rate too.

    The YLOD.

I had it, sent it to Sony to get it fixed for free after that lawsuit, and then 6 months after the Bluray crapped out.

    Worst pos ever.

MS stuck to the most traditional and cheapest thing to work on at that time, which was DVDs.

    Simple enough.

Comparing ylod to rrod :lawl: Xretards have no shame. I bet ms loves having schmuks like as a fanbase.

  5. This shit doesn't even have animated cutscenes :tom:

They cheaped out and used static cutscenes.....then increase the price to $70 and tell you it's because the of the technical scope of the game :kaz: Only Microsoft could pull this shit, and the sad part is xtards bend over for them and justify it as always.

If you were an anti-consumer business who loves milking morons, you couldn't ask for a more gullible audience than the Xbox audience.

Good enough for Gamepass - that’s all that matters :smoke:

They should put that on the back of the boxart. It's kind of sad we look back at flops like Blinx, Brute Forcd, Sudeki, Advent Rising, Ryse, Dead Rising 3 etc, ...all of those would have fit right in with Microsoft's filler on Gamepass. The indie games on there are better than Microsofts own offerings :tom:

Look at all the fanboy sites padding out the score :lawl:

Takes me back. I remember all the way back in tbe day, back when I was a filtjy sheep, arguing with xtards and they would claim Nintendo fansites padded out reviews. I did some research and lo and behold in e ery case xbox had more fansites padding review averages than Nintendo did.

Looks like nothing has changed over time. I wouldn't be surprised if some are MS funded.

    Yes, cows, all of 2006.

It was a sequence of cows getting owned week after week.

I'm pretty sure PS2 had more bangers than 360 that year :lawl:I remember lemmings big games between Oblivion :killzone:And Gears were Saints row (glorified tech demo) and The Outfit (mega flop). Then you had a truckload of HD PS2 ports....tomb raider ran like shit on 360 lmao

Oblivion :killzone: And Gears aside 2006 was not a good year for 360 because all the next-gen games had been held back to align with PS3.

I almost forgot, this is microsofts first $70 Xbox game :hest:

“This price reflects the content, scale, and technical complexity of these titles,” a Microsoft spokesperson told IGN.

I've seen N64 games with better A.I. Lemmings wanted to rip on Forspoken but this game wishes it could be in the same league as Forspoken :kaz:

The sad thing is you know the lemshits will all download this on Gaypass because they have NOTHING else to play, and they'll do the usual routine of convincing each other "it's pretty fun" and better than games like God of war or Horizon. Xbox is a very sick cult at this point.

Idk why but "good enough for Gamepass" just sounds hilarious and feels like a huge insult :hest:

I'm pretty sure its meant to be an insilt :ben:

They basically say its trash and feels "early access" and not worth buying but might get fixed eventually.

Which is what we all said would happen with Gamepass, especially from third parties. You dont need day 1 sales anymore and have guarenteed money for putting it on Gamepass  so release it as an "early access" of sorts and fix it later.

  12. Just let it sink in how much of a flop this. This flopped harder than Blinx, Sudeki and Brute Force. This flopped harder than State of decay 2 and crackdown 3. It had more expectations riding on it than many of thosr games too.

I wrote this game off the moment they showed gameplay. I don't know what people saw in it

It looks like a lot of people wrote it off once they saw gameplay, but because it was a Microsoft flagship game the fanboys and media carried its hype. Thats it - thats the only thing they saw. If this was being published by a third party nobody would have batted an eye.

I totally agree, it’s been more like 12 year drought. I was just trying to be diplomatic and threw them a bone. They haven’t had anything of note since the 360 gen after Gears 3 launched. Everything they’ve had after that has been dogshit and filler if we are being honest. Nothing has made impact since then and now they are hoping lying Todd Howard will save them with buggy Starfield :freeman:

    Lol bingo.

Gears 3 was the last genuine AAA blockbuster they had. Forza 5 technically the last AAAe (but paid for, its 79 on mc) but Gears 3 was really the last genuine blockbuster.

That was 2011. Obama's first time, 360 and PS3 and Wii were the consoles of the time, iphone 4s was Apples phone that year. Skyrim, Arkham City, Mass Effect 2, OOT 3D, Littlebigplanet 2, Uncharted 3, and MGS and ico/sotc hd collections were some of the games from that year.

Feels like a long time ago? It was - and it was the last time xbox had a relevant exclusive that people talked about, and I'd argue even then Gears was feeling long in the tooth on its 3rd installmemt.

"It’s hard to overstate what this is about to do to Xbox discourse, where there have long been rumblings that Microsoft has mismanaged its first party studios, with an entire Xbox One generation devoid of massive excusive hits, the delay and middling launch of Halo Infinite and now the beginning of high profile acquired studio projects. And if those aren’t good either…

These poor Redfall scores are about to crater discourse for months about Xbox and its first party ambitions. At least until its next big test, Starfield, which was delayed a year from its confidentially projected 2022 release date, and now has even more pressure on it as something that has to turn the narrative around after Redfall here. I genuinely wonder if Starfield will be hit with yet another delay, this time into 2024, to try to make sure it doesn’t have a botched launch in the wake of this, because Xbox just cannot afford that. I recall some “insider” rumors that Redfall was coming in hot (which is clearly true) and that Starfield was coming in even hotter.

As for Redfall, this is a rare black mark for Arkane, which will have to do some soul-searching after this one, and I have to know what reaction, if any, Microsoft is going to have to this, whether its with Arkane specifically or its larger first-party plans. It’s true that Square Enix’s Forspoken earlier this year reviewed similarly poorly and was PlayStation console exclusive, that was still ultimately on Square Enix. Here, Redfall’s failure has to be owned by Microsoft."

    Imagine choosing an Xbox :omglol:

  16. The only thing I disagree with is this "year long drought" line. Lemmings want you to believe its only been a year but in truth it has been much longer.

From my count it has been 10 years since their last AAA exclusive, and forza rehashes aside they've had pretty much nothing in those 10 years.

Flops like sea of thieves, grounded, state of decay and crackdown don't count - those aren't real games, merely Gamepass filler.

Lemkids :D Literal review site spewing the same "all ps exclusives suck" bullshit that Ghostz, Jonb and mala do :kaz: So sony stopped responding to them.
