No, it because Sonys games are the same generic thing over and over again. Lets be real, you dont play them either. You dont play any games :reg: You are more concerned about what i play than actually playing games. :rofls:

You say this as you have spent the decade playing 7/6/5 out of 10 flops like Starfield, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay and other entirely forgettable games.

Like I said, you've been trained like a dog. Imagine wasting your life on trash games to please a multi-trillion dollar corporation who doesn't give a fuck about you :reg:

Us normal gamers will continue to enjoy Sony's AAA masterpieces :aitch:

From what I've seen of the game thats what it looked like, and it made me think of the same. It was just fast travelling to some outpost on a barren planet. There was no need to explore because the game took you there, and looking out at one barren wasteland after another there wasn't much incentive to explore either.

The whole space thing is just a glorified loading screen.

This game definitely looks like a 7/10. Easily a skip for better games.

    Today:

    KC7SHRc.jpg

Notice that the montage from June is almost all shots of being on a planet around Dawn or Sunset, so that there's heavy amounts of shadow and silhouetting.

And these shots are of the terrain during the middle of the day where everything is well-illuminated.

And apparently this game is not even exceeding 6GB of VRAM. So it was clearly designed around the Xbox Series S.

Everything I've seen so far has been a barren wasteland.

Its like someone looked at photos from one of the Mars rovers and said "that looks fun, lets design a game around it"

    "What do you do?"

"Eh, walk around and look at rocks I guess"

No, the Dreamcast is the definition of a cult classic. Like "most" people who owned one, I got it at a pawn shop after it was already dead. It's a nice system, but as a middle step between N64 and PS2 it was never going to succeed.

I enjoyed Dreamcast but this is true. Its discs held less data than Gamecube, it had one analogue stick and 2 less buttons than other controllers...it was going to suffer the moment the gen switched to PS2/GC/Xbox anyway.

The mega-hyped AAA blockbuster didn't even score higher. The first Gamespot review for NMS was also a 7.

So it did, I forgot :hest:

See thats the trick lemmings do. They all pretend x is better than y, hoping people forget what scores the original got.

It seems they're running to aggregates with this one which are padded out by fansites.

  6. They're actually going for it :hest:

They're actually going to compare a AAA title, the follow up to Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls Skyrim, the game that was to save the Xbox brand itself.....to a fucking indie game :rofls: :rofls: :rofls:

This is rock bottom for the xbox brand and its fanboys :kaz:

"After 10 entire years of ZERO GAMES, my mega-hyped AAA 7/10 scoring blockbuster....well it scored higher than that indie game of yours from a few years back so there :lemming: "

    Lemmings, just kill yourselves :facep:

  7. You pay it or you don't play online.

We warned you schmuks 20 years ago this would be the result, and it was the lemmings who made this a reality :kaz:

See if they put 2 & 2 together and figure out what position they will be in with Gamepass if M$ ever gets that shit to take off.....oh who am I kidding they will never be able to piece it together :rofls:

Not even close.  This game will sell millions upon millions.

Ah that old lemming tactic of pretending to not know the sw definition of "flop" the moment an xbox game flops.

Starfield is cerrainly the biggest flop since Zelda:TP.

The fact that it wasn't even AA, and how much was at stake for the xbox brand....yeah I'd genuinely classify this as the biggest flop of all time.

  9. That Xbox effect :hest:

The Microsoft touch, the touch that brings death to any game and removes all hope.

This shit was hyped with religious fervor and it's been handed a floptastic 7 by the big sites. Only Microsoft could produce a flop this huge.

This was meant to save Xbox :rofls: After 10 years of drought...

Speaking of which, unless Xbox produces an AAA exclusive in the next 2 months then its AAAe drought has officially lasted an entire DECADE :kaz: 10 entire years of not a single AAAe, you could never imagine a brand this bad.

It's not about understanding the concept of inflation.

It's about understanding the reason behind the price hike to $60 back in 2005.

It had nothing to do with inflation but rather game development increase, which was the introduction of the hd era.

Yeah I know Jerry you are very anxious to describe what inflation means but it has nothing to do with in this topic.

    https://osgamers.com/frequently-asked-questions/when-did-games-go-from-50-to-60

So basically "it's ok when Microsoft does it :lemming: "

You expect things to cost the same now as they did 18 years ago? With how bad inflation is in the 2020's?

You should let your fanboy mode go away when looking at this issue.

    The fucking irony here :hest:

Why even mention digital vs retail in your original post? It's the $70 that seems to bug you, not the digital vs retail being the same cost, or did you drop that once you realized m$ didn't have your best interests at heart.

The price of everything has gone up numbnuts so don't be surprised games are no exception.
