I was definitely surprised by this game's reception as I didn't even hear about it today. But the footage i've seen really does nothing for me.

Oh yeah and Burnhouse Lane looks even better. In fact I would go as far as to say its one of the better looking 2D games out there.

Just bought it @-GD-X Downfall is crazy. I don't remember it being this trippy.

ROG Ally X. Its basically the same as the original but comes in black and has a beefier battery https://www.ign.com/articles/asus-rog-ally-x-announced The battery life is the original's biggest weakness so this is a positive change, but nothing crazy

So it seems like this all boils down to gamepass having stagnated, and MS realizing they're $70 billion in the hole after buying Activision and are now doing whatever it takes to try and slowly earn that money back.

Can't really get any games to hold my attention recently. P3 Reload was too familiar, Fallout 76 started off decently but its starting to bore me. V Rising wasn't really my cup of tea even though I had been following it for a while and was waiting for the full release. Maybe ill finally give the Star Ocean 2 remake a try, I feel like thats one game i'd be able to get into.

Meh. I liked my Ally but I don't really use it much. In fact I let my little cousin borrow it like a month ago to try it out and haven't even cared enough to ask him for it back.

I liked it initially but it started getting grindy later on and eventually I got annoyed enough that I dropped it.

Tried the game and unfortunately its not for me. It just drops you into a empty map and has you kill generic fantasy monsters/animals and knock down trees to collect materials so you can start building stuff and crafting better equipment. Im sure its a lot more fun with friends but the gameplay loop as a solo player just feels monotonous and like its inevitably just going to become a large grind. Still looking for another building/resource management game thats as engaging as Dragon Quest Builders 2 or Spiritfarer.

CoD on gamepass would be financial suicide for MS.

Imagine out of the blue losing access to a platform you poured years and thousands of dollars into because of politics. That digital only feature isn't looking too hot is it hermits?

I haven't seen the entirety of this but it seems to be a good overview.

After 12 hours I don't think im gonna continue playing P3 Reloaded. Don't get me wrong the game is still great, but once the shine of the new features and visuals wears off you realize that its very much the same game as P3 and I don't think Im willing to dump several dozen more hours into what is already a very familiar experience. Its definitely a fantastic way to experience the original for people who never played it though. I also know Metaphor ReFantazio is going to be very similar to Persona, so I don't want to burn myself out on this formula before that game comes out.

The timing is also bad because no matter how good hellblade 2 ends up being, it’s going to be overshadowed by this news and people will be extra critical of it when playing it.
