V Rising is actually pretty fun. It feels a bit like a singleplayer MMO by yourself but the loop of gathering materials, crafting better equipment, and slowly building up your castle can be engaging. Though when it starts getting grindy or im not making much progress I start to lose interest so I just turn it off and come back to it later. Its a good game to play in short bursts.

yeah the quest 3 is undoubtedly the headset to get especially for the price.

Interesting. Does Bloodborne have the same icon?

@-GD-XThe Coma 2 is on sale for a whopping $1.50. Its a really solid game with similar themes to what Harvester puts out

Thats surprising. Its been a while since I played Lorelai but I remember the story feeling like a bit of a downgrade compared to The Cat Lady. I also didn't find the characters to be as memorable.

If I were to rank all these games my list would like something like this

1. The Cat Lady

2. Burnhouse Lane/Downfall (having trouble deciding which of these I liked more)

3. Lorelai

I think they're all high quality games overall but Lorelai was a bit of a low point in comparison.

@David P Im a few hours into Second Story R and really enjoying it, but I just unlocked all the IC/Speciality/Crafting systems and im not gonna lie that shit is a bit overwhelming  

Figured lemmings could use a bit of positive news given all the ass pounding they've been receiving lately 

Just crazy and really puts into perspective how gaming is starting to hit a wall when it comes to visuals. The game could be released for the first time today and it would still be among the best looking games out there.

as for lorelai, i love the visuals and the improved voice acting. the story is interesting. the puzzles feel a hair bit easy, so far. i'm almost done with chapter2. it's definitely a fun mindfuck, though. i can't wait to finish it so i can play burnhouse lane. i watched some vids, and you weren't joking. this dev is like a mix of david lynch and takashi miike, but with games.

I just finished it. That was a hell of a game!  My score was a 25/27 which got me ending A  Im glad I got you to play it or else I wouldn't have even bothered to try it, Its sooooo much better than what I played of the original and is exactly what a remake should be. I was especially surprised by the connections To The Cat Lady.

The dev is definitely extremely talented and I remember being surprised when I read about his backstory a while back. Dude used to be a full time auxiliary nurse before he got into games  Thats quite the career shift but im glad he realized game development was his calling.

On a side note, I just saw him plug this other indie adventure game on his twitter account. Looks really cool and if he approves of it then its probably worth playing

Funnily enough my mom has more trouble with her phone than her current old windows laptop. So im not sure another iOS device would have been a good fit. 

I ended up going with the Envy. The price was a big part of that but i'd also like something that I can occasionally use to hook up to the living room TV for family gatherings. To do stuff like stream music and play web games like Geo Guesser.

This is on sale and looks like a good option. Maybe even a bit overkill but the price is appealing

Would like to get my mom a new laptop for mother's day. I haven't kept up with them recently but ideally i'd want something light & foldable (maybe even with a detachable touchscreen). I was looking at Surfaces but those are still unreasonably expensive. Im not looking to spend more than $800.

Yeah i don't think the whole mental health gimmick is that effective anymore. In fact the constant voices in her head actually come off as a bit annoying now.

Good, that lady is an insult to her ancestors. Ukranians sacrificed a disproportionate amount of people to push back the Nazis during WW2 and instead of showing appreciation the Russians decided to invade and kill them in the same way the Nazis did. Every remnant of the Soviet Union and its past, espeically in relation to Russia, should be purged from Ukranian territory.

And while you play SO2, remember that you are playing a JRPG that came out in 1998... and be blown away by how much more advance it is than other JRPGs at the time or even now. It's by far the best game in the series and still is. Remake is great too, makes tons of improvements and up the presentation without changing the experience too much from the PS1 original. It's still the same game, combat is what changed the most but it's probably for the best. 

I also just uninstalled FO76. I didn't hate the game, in fact I liked it. I just felt the crafting and inventory management was a bit annoying and Im sure I would have gotten better at that stuff if I spent more time on it, but i'd rather just focus on other games for now.

Im gonna give V Rising another chance, so I re-bought it from GMG. It was on sale for $27 which is the lowest i've seen it.

I think I got a bit annoyed because early on some of the enemies are actually super powerful and can kill you almost instantly, and one of them was this plant fucker who kept on spawning in the same area where I was trying to build my castle which was pissing me off
