I loved it, but it's very slick and doesn't offer a great deal of challenging combat in the main game. It's fun though, and it really does justice to the Batman universe. does the game have any puzzles? or it just combat/stealth/platforming? It has loads of puzzles, The Riddlers lays them out for and some of them are a pretty tricky.

I actually like the combat though. Sure, it isn't insanely deep but they really did a great job of capturing Batman's elite hand to hand combat skills. It's just fun to watch him fly around all over the place owning fools. Word. It's always engaging, and pulling off high score combos in the challenges is satisfying as shit. Maybe the clever thing to do would be to do things that we find funny. This site is never going to be a gamespot or IGN, so rather than just trying to be something we're not with serious debates or whatever we should make content we want to read rather than trying too hard to be something we're not. I think we might need to try and get a better grasp of what exactly SW does for the people who come here.

To expand on the idea a bit the idea behind this which i should of really mentioned was that in the actual reviews rather it say the Cows, the sheep etc it was actually be the username of the person writing it, so here it would Echochrome writes, Crazymonkey writes, etc, with a "well known" or half literate fanboy doing a small opinion for each of the 4 factions. Then if we want to show we know how ridiculous we're being we can put a straight up little review. I thought that that section would be named something like "Shit no one cares about", or something to play on the fact no one ever read

So TBM said i should stick my idea in here. I did a rough mock up to illustrate my idea. Ignore the bad writing, i did it quickly. The writing is just an idea, but the style of the page is what i thought could work, obviously with more polish. Further down i thought there could be a hermit opinion and then maybe a short straight opinion giving a genuine little review of the game. I dunno how a scoring system would work. :]

All you would need is screen shots imo. So you can get the exact same screen with one called PS3 and one called 360 and have someone show how much worse one version is than the other. To start with i don't think you'd need much more, unless you want to really make a mock version of gamespot by getting the most boring video clips of games, like just the guy standing there or of someone crashing constantly and restarting a race in a racer.

I don't think reviewing every game is necessary or practical. It needs to reflect the forum in that we only follow or care about the big AAA releases. I think trying to be a resource for credible or meaningful reviews is going the wrong way. We need to embrace the ridiculousness of what this forum is based around.

Yeah, that's what i meant, basically like Famitsu or EGM but with more obvious bias. Maybe you could have an "out of character" reviewer who didn't take part in the bias to even it out.

If we could organise it having 1 person from each faction do a review would probably work the best. I'm not sure if you'd want to do it with wholesale bias because that will get boring to read quick. The shorter the reviews in that style the better. I'm talking like a paragraph each.
