And you can actually make space travel have interesting gameplay mechanics.

    Make it about RESOURCE management.

You have to go to warp in order to GO to another solar system, therefore you need X-amount of fuel, x-amount of provisions, or materials.

Let's say you mess up and you don't have enough to reach a particular solar system, you jump out of warp and then read what is the closest thing to you, maybe you find another ship.

Hail the ship to trade for resources. Or attack them. or you get attacked by space pirates. Or, you find the nearest space station, and it requires 8-10 minutes of regular travel to reach that place. Fine.

They should have made it where you really have to plan your space travel, or else you are scrounging for resources JUST to make it to the planet. And then you stay on that planet until you have been able to gather enough resources to move on.

    shuuuuuuu tthe fuuuuuck uuup jeeeerryy

I said all that and wish it was like that but I also hear from everyone playing it's not that bad and people have to see for themselves. It looks like all these little interactions and weird discoveries will still happen in these tiny levels. At least I saw some other ship contact the guy and wanted to talk so I can imagine they put in other events too. I'm sure it will be ok.

Nobody wants RESOURCE MANAGEMENT except for maybe ramza that freak, that likes to waste his time on fallout new vegas in survival mode, basically enjoying the bland gameplay of fallout 3 :D , gets his dick hard from drinking dirty water and eating 10 mudcrabs to survive, so he can shoot spongy enemies which can one hit you :D  terrible

    Spoiler

    ramza :-*

I can't wait to play GODfield, best game ever made

The less of that, the better. There shouldn't be any space combat either, which looks extremely boring.

That's my point, it's super barebones so why even put it in the game? At least make it good or just don't bother at all and just make it all a big cutscene to travel to another planet :|

For a RPG set in space and being called "STARFIELD" the new IP from beth after so many years I'd expect and wish for actual SPACE EXPLORATION.

It doesn't have to be the scale of scam citizen in that regard (like the nerdy accuracy) but just making a little hub, with a space skin, some space ship combat and then choosing a destination in a menu to fast travel is a complete joke. We have outer worlds, which does this already. (I mean just choose a destination)

Such a big project in 2023 I'd at the very least expect to have the 100 handcrafted planets within a few hubs of space levels, where you can explore. I wished it was one big seemless thing where every planet is connected, so you can manually fly there for immersion/exploration, but if they can't do that, fine - make it like 5 or 10 big zones, which contains all the 100 handcrafted planets. I don't care about 900 empty random generated garbo for resources and base building.

(coming across an abandoned ship/station (in a quest maybe) then discovering shit, crew dead, some alien shit, some other stuff happening and what not) just for example. Or whoops you encounter some weird thingy in space at some location far off the main routes/planets.

But nope, looks like there is absolutely nothing of it, so why even put it in the game? why even make a game about space? I'm interested in exploring the 100 planets and especially the big cities too. But I don't expect much from the writing/characters because beth was always a total let down, except a few good moments.

That definitely wasn't me. I love Witcher 3, one of my top 3 games for last gen, but I've never said anything good about its combat. I think the nicest thing I've said about it was that it was serviceable and functional. I don't think it's terrible but it's definitely not good.

Doesn't matter to me though, what I loved about Witcher 3 was the writing and how the game would constantly surprise me with the unexpected.

It was you, 100%, we also talked about the rats and that weird bug if you enable enemy scaling level with your level, because a thousand rats hit you like a truck :D   (and kill you at some point in the game, like instantly, had to turn that off for a moment lol)

We talked about how bad the combat was, and we both agreed that it LOOKED GOOD - like did you even read what I wrote, I never said you said it was GOOD or neither I said it was GOOD. We both agreed it is BAD but it can look cool - visually, cutting people to shreds. You said you never had problem with the combat.

And like I mentioned I agree again, it's what I just said in that long ass text - even listing all the CDPR games, they all have trash combat/gameplay, they are about the story, characters and environments first and foremost.

Don't get me wrong. Witcher 3 combat is fucking terrible. Cybercuck has much better core gameplay.

But the story and it's world are just fucking awful. Like anyone could come up that shit, Blade Runner came out like 40 years ago for fuck sake. Granted I never finished it and didn't that far into it but in comparison Witcher 3 narrative had me captivated at that point in the game. Meanwhile I didn't give a shit what happened in 2077. Terrible characters, plot and story.

You never played the entire story :D  If you don't like the characters that's your fault. The story owns. One thing I give CDPR credit for is only they can write such a dark and depressing story.

And Night City is fucking glorious, blade runner lmfao, and you didn't finish it either :D  Witcher 3 base game has a bad story as well, it has it's moments like the bog sisters but that Ciri superpower shit was boring as well, I can say the same about that and I quote you:"Like anyone could come up that shit" - the story AND the setting. You think some villages and towns and castles IS THE SUPER ORIGINAL THING. :D

You guys can complain all you want but the game is just not for you, that's all I'm saying. I like all CDPR games, shame you guys can't get into Cybu.

I agree with that. It's a fine open world action/FPS game but Witcher 3 is a much better RPG in my opinion. So I expected better.

oof sorry for the long text, if oyu want to just skip it it's fine with me, just have to get this out once in a while :D

It's ok I get some of you hate cybu for the wrong reasons, but CDPR never did good combat. Hell even witcher 1 (which is also the best witcher game because of the story and pacing, except for hearts of stone story with gaunter o' dim) had the best combat and that was some JRPG barebones shite, remember the just clicking the sword icon when a flame appeared to deal max damage, and then you would switch between stances for single target, multitarget and some strong attack.

Witcher 2 the absolute worst combat ever, clunky as fuck and with one of the skills, you can roll farther and are faster than running so you end up rolling around like sonic on coke.

Witcher 3 absolute gibberish floaty combat - I think I agreed with Sabo once that Witcher 3 combat looked cool when you did those finisher moves, beheading dudes and cutting limbs BUT I'm saying the gameplay sucks as well even if it had more RPG mechanics which are also just not necessary.

Cybu is like a FPS with barebones melee combat, (the hacking stuff stands out), it looks cool but that's all, most skills are meaningless for combat because they are boring %-increase and the game is too easy anyway. It is still a RPG though.

You guys don't like the setting, the city it seems and can't for whatever reason not get into the story which is amazing. I love female  V, it has some amazing side quests (which most people never played because they start later in the game, like Rivers investigation, or that president couple, or a chrome girl doing something shitty and you have to take care of things but she's a bich and you have so many options to deal with that quest line many times).

The thing is that Witcher 3 progression feels more natural and has better pacing. You enter a place and do stuff, talk to people, do sides then move on. Of course you can also just leave. I'm saying Cybu isn't like that at all - it turns into a "What am I gonna do now?"-game. And I understand that people don't like it. And the way missions start, with boring "gigs" inbetween, people constantly phoning you and want you to shoot up some people lol. But even those had always a bit of lore (shards to read) or something else happening.

I just will never understand the argument that the game has bland combat because CDPR sucks at it. always. and the big part is the story and characters and world building.

Death Stranding 2 is my most hyped game along with Stellar Blade.

It's weird man, but I agree. I NEED death stranding 2. GODjima     I can't blame anyone who hated UPS-Amazon simulator because the key is to get drunk while playing.

I love the setting though and the story it's so over the top and the game design is incredible. once you encounter the BT's you won't quit but keep going. (walking for a long time :kaz:  just jk, game owns)

I just hope the 2nd one will have better pacing, I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in it if it wasn't a full few hours of walking before shit starts.

  7. looks like trash just like warframe

Graphics are nice but gameplay seemed pretty standard. Nothing about it to help it stand out from a very crowded pack. These types of games are a dime a dozen now. Why should I play this?

I think it's kinda ironic and funny that you say this and keep playing a million JRPGs :D

  8. I apologize for the long text.

you guys saying it looks fantastic but it's only the graphics. you will get bored 10min into the game when the gameplay loop sets in.

I did it for the team and played the first one plus dlc and then even the stupid spin-off (like 2 years ago or so). It just sucks, you all know it, don't try to play the first it's a waste of time. the truly baffling part is, for a game that's supposed to rely on the story but there actually is NO story :D  there is nothing happening.. the ending is the worst of it becuase there is NO ending, it just stops.

I remember I read about it online and people were saying shit like:"you have to play both dlcs for the ending". Guess what? there is NO ending in it either, nothing is happening. the one dlc is also basically just one of the last levels from the base game REVERSED. that's basically it, the same stupid level again. GOOD JOB!

It's a repetitive boring ass game. And the second one will be too. It's because i can tell it's going the same "oh so surreal, shadow people talking and making my boi crazy"-route,. Oh, yes need my fleshlight to make their dick visible so i can stroke the gay lumberjack shadow people to death.

For anyone interested what's actually happening in the game:

    Spoiler

dude is just mentally ill, ala silent hill, delusional to the max but obviously it's not on the same level as SH. one level you even spend in a mental place and talk to psychiatrist and shite, the dude just doesn't listen. Should just take his meds or fucking kill himself. weak ass pussy.

There is only one good thing and that is his manager who is just unintentionally funny sometimes.

Graphically, true, it looks insanely good, but don't be fooled is all i'm saying.
