Yeah I don't understand too, maybe people are trying their hardest to keep their expectations low to avoid disappointment.  Personally I'd be shocked if it's not at least stronger than base PS4.

In the last hours, several prestigious international media such as Bloomberg or Eurogamer have assured that the announcement of the new Nintendo Switch model is imminent, and that it will take place before E3 2021, which begins on June 12. Now we offer you some unpublished details of the new Switch, which we have told you in our weekly Vandal Radio podcast, and which we are going to reproduce below.

All this information comes from an Asian peripheral manufacturer that has had access to the console and has already been able to see it, so almost all the details are from the aesthetic part and we do not know specific information about its internal hardware, beyond that It will offer 4K image output when connected to a television, as has been rumored for months.


The size of the console will be very similar to the original model, so it seems that it will be compatible with current Joy-Con as well as other types of peripherals. The new dock, the device with which we connect the console to the TV, will be very similar in size to the current one, although it will be a little wider at the rear, and will include two USB 3.0 ports, faster than the current 2.0 ports. The most outstanding novelty of the dock will be that it will have an ethernet network port, to be able to connect it by cable to the internet, something unprecedented in a Nintendo console since it has always been necessary to resort to peripherals to have this type of connectivity.

The various information that appeared yesterday pointed to an imminent announcement and a launch date for September or October. Our sources have told us that indeed the console is already in the final production process, but that the global launch is uncertain, and that it may not arrive in Europe until the end of November, and with a fairly limited number of consoles compared to previous brand launches. You already know the current semiconductor crisis that is affecting new generation consoles, and the new Switch is not going to get rid of them, as the president of the company himself recognized.

Still not clear how big of a power jump except that the dock outputs 4k?  7 inch OLED with minimal bezel is cool though.😎

Another PlayStation 1st party game on Xbox. Technically it's PC game streaming to Xbox but still cool to see nonetheless.

So what's the expected power jump? I've heard people saying that expecting the level of base Xbox One/PS4 is unrealistic.

Probably won't change for a long long time if ever.  Too many bugs/glitches and performance issues (especially on consoles) for them to focus on first.

Xbox also offering full refund now and Best Buy officially refunding opened Cyberpunk disks. Holy crap..the first time this has ever happened. I hope this sends signal to all not to ship a broken product.

Yeah gunplay is surprisingly good for a CDPR game. Game keeps getting better and better.

Playing as Johnny Silverhand make me realised pistols are cool af. I'm going to be maining pistol from here on out.

60fps performance mode and 30fps raytracing mode seem to be standard now. This is good.

It's only taken off temporarily to curb the wave of refunds. Physical copies are also still available if you really want to play this on a playstation lol.

Not only that, they know people can just buy it knowing they can return it and get their money back in a few days or a week.  Why even give people the option to buy the game if all they want to do is play it for free and get their money back after a week?

 

I have it on One X and it looks fine.  Haven't had many issues.  Will keep my copy and continue to play on One X.  Will play again when I get Series X with the upcoming upgrades.

Lol One X version is not fine at all man. It actually runs worse than PS4 Pro albeit at a higher resolution. Check out the DF videos.

I can see it. MS have a history of pouncing on companies at their weakest. Nokia and Bethesda come to mind.

Damn Epic is the gift that keeps giving. Feels bad for anyone not having a gaming pc to take advantage of this. 

Playing on next gen consoles is fine. But base ps4/xbox one are broken as fuck. I have never seen such an ugly blurry game on ps4/xb1 and with so many bugs and glitches to boot. Pro and One X are a big step up from the base consoles but still nowhere near good enough. 

Clearly, there is a tsunami of refund requests not seen before. Pulling it from the store temporarily is the right move or you're just going to get more angry customers demanding refunds.

What difficulty do you guys play it on? Is normal too easy?
