So someone found out that if you unequip one of your equipment slot (the support item slot in this case), you actually cause more damage. This is because the game scales damage based on the average item level, not the total item level. I'm not even surprised anymore after seeing how the level 1 default rifle was found to kill enemies faster than a legendary weapon due to some fucked up scaling in the game. The way this game is designed in some aspects is so shockingly bad it's hilarious, LMAO. Bioware pls.

So PS4 player pool merged with Xbox player pool. If you opt out, you are restricted to Creative mode and playground, so both player bases are pretty much forced to play together. Interesting. Switch player pool merged with mobile, which makes sense since both are 30fps? PC not mentioned. I assume PC is it's own thing due to Mouse and Keyboard.

Yeah or I would just quit this game already. But afaik Anthem still have some sort of scaling which is dumb as shit. What's the point of hunting for better gear when your lvl 1 gun is the best? With how broken the game is, I wouldn't be surprised if the scaling is broken too and that's why you see people with lower gear outperforming people with better gear. This game often left me too many times wondering how it passed testing. Did Bioware even test their own game? SMH

Anthem is a broken mess regardless of platform sadly. I have been active in Anthem communities because I have been actively playing this game and addicted to it lol. But yeah the bugs, glitches and server disconnections are truly something else. In some extreme cases, people were getting consoles shutdown and PCs getting multiple BSOD. I have never played a game so broken.

Nah I don't have the capacity for more GAAS type games. Right now Destiny 2 and Anthem are more than what I can handle.

Just do some contracts or stronghold and you will get them naturally. I was already about 60% done for the quest when I first got it. But yeah the UI and everything sucks. You can't even view or change your weapons/gears mid mission, and yeah no fucking markers. Also, walking around in Fort Tarsis is so frustrating. I know you can run but it still feels too slow, barely faster than walking. And the NPCs conversation are all junk nobody cares about. I still enjoy the moment to moment gameplay though and getting better loot kept me going.

I'm near the end now. Which freeplay part are you at? The 4 trials?

I guess this means Xbox is bowing out of the console war and helping Nintendo to fight Sony. With Nintendo's massive fanbase and their 1st party combined with Xbox's 3rd party and MS's huge warchest to buy up studios, Sony could finally be forced out of the console wars. Win-win for MS and Nintendo.

It has been clear for some time now that MS wants to put their service everywhere they can. They are moving from physical platform to a virtual one and Switch is just another vessel(a big one though) for them to expand their virtual platform and absorb more money. Millions and millions of Switch owners will be absorbed into the MS virtual platform/ecosystem, and will continue to be even after Switch dies. MS is playing the long game here. That's all they care, they don't care if Nintendo games never make it on Xbox.
