True. It would be like Sony losing Naughty Dog and their next game releasing on Xbox as the main platform with exclusive content and marketing. It still amazes me how Bungie was allowed to leave just like that.

Damn 9 of them are Nintendo's games. Nintendo are extending their domination from Japan and US to Europe. No one could have predicted Nintendo would score such a smashing success with the Switch. Wow

Looks like Google is officially entering the gaming market big time. So it has begun, things are going to get interesting in the next 5 years.

Yes Nintendo is just too strong in Japan. PS4 enjoyed so many 3rd party heavy hitters which are not on Switch: DQ11, FFXV, MHW, RE7, RE2R, MGSV...I could go on and on and yet Switch sales in Japan run circles around the PS4. Nintendo has Japan firmly on lock, Sony will never win in Japan again.

Nintendo's got Japan on lock with or without MH. The Japanese weekly sales charts have been pretty much Nintendo Top 20 for years now.

I personally play more on a monitor. For some reason I focus better on a smaller screen. As a bonus, image is sharper on a monitor too due to the smaller screen size. I can see the appeal of a bigger TV though and switch to a TV every now and then.

Yeah I was completely hooked on Destiny 1 for about a year, it got me into the this type of games. Unfortunately I have no friends to play with so I missed out on stuff with no matchmaking like raids and nightfall. The end game for Anthem is the Strongholds(equivalent of Strikes in Destiny but bigger scale, and HAVE matchmaking) which is good news for people like me.

Word. Playing Anthem made me appreciate Destiny so much more, even the UI.

Letdown 3

A game like Kingdom Hearts would sell way more on Switch than Xbox. Lower the resolution, reduce the enemies on screen, do whatever it takes to get it running on the Switch. I’m sure there are enough people who do not mind these as long they can play it on their Switch.

Pretty much how I see it. This doesn’t mean you can play Xbox games on your Switch at all, you simply sign in to XBL for the cross play games. Even if you somehow think you are getting Xbl on Switch for free, don’t you still have to pay Nintendo for online play?
