  1. https://www.gameinformer.com/2020/06/12/report-att-looking-to-sell-warner-bros-interactive-entertainment

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (also known as WB Games) owns TT Games, Rocksteady Studios, NetherRealm Studios, Monolith Productions, WB Games Boston, Avalanche Software, WB Games Montréal, and WB Games San Francisco.

Some notable IPs include MK, Batman, Injustice, F.E.A.R, Middle Earth.  Take-Two, EA and Activision have expressed interest in buying the gaming division. Could be huge if MS or Sony go for it.

  2. The bigger Switch issue for me is that Cloud saving or even backing up or transferring of save files are still not standard for all games on Switch. Tried to move my animal crossing save file to my Switch Lite yesterday but found out the save file is locked to the system. You can't use cloud save or even transfer it to a SD card. There is no way to extract that save file :shake:

It's been 3 years and Switch is almost as barebones as it is at launch. Still no way to message your friends or voicechat natively on the system. Nintendo is dropping the ball hard on this.

Sega was already bought out by Sammy Holdings they're doing ok.

The best thing you will get is a partnership with Sega for Japan, where Xbox would be rebranded as a Sega console.

MS finally gets their foot in the door in Japanese market in a real way and Sega gets to "return" to the console race albeit only in Japan.

But the pipe dream of them being bought out by MS is just that... a pipe dream.

It would still sell like shit in Japan. Japan has been Nintendo land for the last decade or so.  Even PS is struggling to compete in Japan. Rebranding Xbox as a Sega console won’t do much when they have the same games as PlayStation. Unless Sega starts developing exclusive Japan centric titles for it, I can‘t see it making a difference.

I thought about it, but said screw it. I don’t have that much time or interest to play something like this anymore. I loved pso1 but this game just came out too late.

5 years ago I might still cared.

I kinda feel the same when this became F2P with microtransactions. Definitely don't need another Dauntless. I'll give it a try to see how it goes.

Yea, their free games are amazing.

Also worth noting that they have partnerships with Remedy for 2 exclusive games.  One is AAA, and another is apparently a smaller game.  As well as genDESIGN , which as we all know made The Last Guardian (which is also rumored to be coming to PC), and also Playdead, the makers of Limbo and INSIDE.

So they're going to have some good exclusive upcoming content... and you can imagine there are others.

The last few weeks have been amazing. GTA5, Civilization 6 and now this.  Are they funding a new game from genDESIGN?  It's shocking that Epic is more aggressive with Epic Store than Google is with Stadia.
