Sleeping Dogs is $4.49 on US PSN. Game’s been amazing so far. It’s like GTA with great combat mechanics and an interesting story.

Death Stranding has been surprisingly enjoyable so far. Already 20 hours in and I’m only at chapter 5. Gameplay loop is satisfying especially after you unlock the bike and truck. Didn’t care much for the story until..
SpoilerI am unknowingly helping Higgs to deliver a timed nuke into a city, holy shit.. Now the story is starting to get more interesting.

So I just got back into BOTW after like 2 years. I know many think it’s overrated and there are some frustrating mechanics but the game still has its charms that make me want to get back into it from time to time. Just cleared the the first divine beast and working on acquiring the master sword.

You have to complete the chapter for stuff to save which is ridiculous. They’re whole post game set up sucks tbh
Pretty sure you can just hop out mid chapter and your character progress will save. I replayed chapter 16 just killing the Shinra soldiers at the carpark section and then hop out once I get to the building. I repeated this multiple times to get to level 50.

Dragon Warrior 1,2,3 and 4 are some of my favorite games of all time. I played them back in the day, beginning with the original. The NES versions hold a special place in my heart, and DW 3 and 4 specifically absolutely floored me. DW3 for how it connected the first 3 games, and DW4 with it's different chapters/characters and the twist with the battle system.
I didn't want to put all of them though lol.. so yea.
I’m curious what you think of 5 since so many put it as their favourite or one of their top. I have never played it though. I’d hunt down a ps2 copy but I don’t have a ps2 anymore. SE should release it and the classic DQ games for the Switch asap.

Just started DQ 11. Loving the art style. Game seems pretty easy so far. Does the difficulty ramp up later in the game? I think I'll go with greatsword rather than sword and shield.

I didn't play it, but everything I saw and read indicated that it was a glorified boss rush mode where they literally just re-used bosses and their attack patterns from the base game. Not only is that as lazy as it gets, but the fact that they had the balls to charge $30 for it is icing on the shit flavored cake.
Lol ok. That’s all I needed to know.

ATB boosting materia is the best, especially the one that give you meter at the start of every battle
Constantly switching characters is the way to go though
The First Strike materia
There’s also an accessory that fills your limit break bar at the start of every battle.

Played first 2 chapters of FFVII on hard. Haven’t died yet but when they said you can’t use items in Hard mode I assumed they meant during battle, but they legit meant the whole game. Hardest part is MP conservation at this point. Can’t use Ether even between fights. Benches and materia only way to refill. Seems like a pretty big leap in difficult on top of enemies actually being tougher, hitting harder and bosses apparently having new move sets. No problem so far but not so sure I’ll be able to do the whole game.
leveling up now though is crazy fast
You probably already know this but I only recently realise that if you link the Magnify materia with a magic orb, it turns into an AOE spell. This should conserve some MPs if you are dealing with a big mob.

It’s a remaster. Graphics are not going to be groundbreaking.

i'm at the 60 hour mark in p5 royal. i absolutely love the 2 new characters, and how you can now hang out with akechi (no more automatic level ups). i heard his story, in general, has been overhauled (i didn't care for his initial arc). unlike og p5, there's now almost too much to do with my free time. i literally choose, carefully, how i spend it. kichijoji has added a lot of variety, making it easier to strengthen character bonds and overall stats.
Did you play P5 as well? How different is it?

2.3 million players in the first 3 days of tracking. Players are only counted if they earn at least one trophy.
3rd largest PS exclusive just behind GOW (2.4M) and Spider-Man (3M). Looks like a solid launch.- 1

So I bought Animal Crossing and literally can’t believe I paid $60 for this on eshop. Wtf.

Don’t even get me started on KH3’s special attacks featuring random Disney attractions with long ass animation lock. I avoided using special attacks altogether because of it. The combat in KH3 is a fucking joke.

Oh guys, I have played kh3 and finished it. Kh3 is pure garbage, I know. I’m asking if the ReMind dlc was any better.

The AI is way too unreliable for me to want to endure that level of difficulty. Sometimes I just want to relax and focus on one character but the others just hog their AP without using any abilities or spells, its kind of ridiculous.
I think they wanted us to control all characters when their ATB filled just like the original.
I hate it when my character gets interrupted trying to cast a spell or ability. Wasted the ATB bar and getting nothing out of it. It's why I love using triple slash so much, this move executes instantaneously with almost no chance of getting interrupted.

This is one thing I don't currently agree with. I still don't think the Zack seen is in our timeline. It seemed to just say that there is now a timeline where Zack survives. Because they were on the same spot in out timeline and shown passing each other and Aerith and Zack possibly sensing each other, but still very much in their own timelines. We'll see though, I do think that showing Zack does mean he will eventually join the others, whether it's now or later.
But see, all this talk is the KH fuckery we do now have to deal with lol. Hopefully the sequel sets clear rules and then obides by them.SpoilerTrue, he's still not seen in our timeline at the end so it's still up in the air. I just can't imagine what they could do with him if it's going to be him existing in his own timeline, it'd be lame as hell.

I think it might go like this. At the end, Cloud and crew defeated the Harbringer Whisper which meant that they have defied destiny. So going forward, the story will not have to be in any way tied to the original.. I also hope that this meant the whispers will not be a thing anymore in the sequel as they are by far my least liked thing in the game.
Apparently this changed the outcome in Zack's timeline. Zack survived and is now brought to the same timeline in the game. Which means everyone is on the same timeline from here on out. Maybe Nomura has something big in mind for Zack in the sequel and this is just a way for him to bring him back.
If this is it, I'd be excited to see what's next. I'd be disappointed too if they continue with the multiple timelines fuckery.

Yeah I heard good things about Sleeping Dogs and for $4.49 it’s a no brainer to pick it up now. Only thing I don’t like is how you have to hold X to sprint. Clicking the left stick to sprint got to be standard for all games by now.
