  1. Yeah. Seriously just skip all the cutscenes that it does have, you're not missing anything. That game is the fucking shit. You haven't even seen anything yet.
  2. Love that game Circle of the moon>>>>Rondo of Blood (Dracula X)>>>>> SOTN
  3. I have P4A and i think it's possibly the worst fighting game i've ever played. Watch a video of high level tournament play in any other fighting game, now imagine if they were doing all those combos by just repeatedly pressing one button. That's P4A It's fucking HORRIBLE
  4. Which games? SD3, Romancing SaGa, FFIV 3rd one is my favorite
  5. Level up like maybe 1 or 2 levels then try them again. It's shocking how just 1 level can make a huge difference on boss battles
  6. It's cool and different. The cyberpunk setting combined with hindu themes i thought provided a really compelling world. And It was nice to see a SMT inspired by something other than abrahamic religious themes for a change.
  7. I know but there really aren't many games that does that, at least none that are on the level of quality of the Persona games so he might as well play the main series in the meantime. Closest game i can think of It's such a persona ripoff it's almost copyright infringement.
  8. Nooooo lol. Stay far away. P1 and P2 are so different from P3 and P4 that to you, you'll find everything you like about P3 and P4 to not be present in P2. And if you found P3P's dated interface and presentation jarring, P2 is even worse. After you finish P3 i'd recommend you just wait for P5 which is confirmed to be in development. ah ok. thanks. i just beat that tank spirit (i'm in august). any other jrpgs that are similar to persona 3/4? There's quite a few jrpgs i can think of that are quirky and you may enjoy for it's rather unorthodox level of gameplay. As for game that

  10. Soul Hackers is good but disappointing. I came with too high expectations after several years of waiting and 2 failed fan translations. Top tier SMT is still SMT II, SMT III: Nocturne, Persona 4, Devil Survivor 1, Persona 2: EP and Digital Devil Saga 2. Soul Hackers is right below all of those.
  11. Igor/Velvet room is in Persona 1-4. Yeah imo the story is better. Like someone said, P3 is a lot more darker and depressing while P4 is relatively more upbeat. And 2 of the main characters get killed in P3. I mean i love P4's cast, but Mitsuru and Akihiko are god tier characters.
  12. It's confirmed to be in development, Atlus just hasn't announced it...yet. P3 for the PS2 presentation wise was just like P4, less restricted through menus and offered up free movement around everywhere. With the less disk space available for the PSP Atlus cut that part out and made it more visual novel esque for the PSP version. Atlus didn't have that problem for the Vita since a card can fit the same about what a PS2 DVD can. I've played and completed both and while i kinda miss the 3D exploration, the amount of gameplay improvements the PSP version offers otherwise makes the PS2 version
  13. Damn dude, Final Fantasy Legend II is god tier. But it's not really a FF game....in almost any way. I always wanted to play that remake for the DS. I wish Square would make more Saga rpgs. They're fucking amazing. Never played FFA, don't think so anyway.
  14. Once you're finished you should look for the Persona 4 hiimdaisy comic cartoon on youtube. It's an amazingly well done fan video that recaps the entire game through comic strips while poking fun at the logic of the game. Just don't watch it now because it spoils the entire game. I remember when giantbomb were doing their endurance run for P4 a fan posted it and jeff got pissed off because it spoils the ending right in the first minute of the video.
  15. lmfao I think someone like you could easier see it coming. After seeing it in a lot of jrpgs, you kinda just accept it, where as you look at Naoto and you say something is definitely wrong here... Still, damn dude you're almost done. You're like 70-80% done And Persona 4 is a fucking long game. Enjoy the home stretch. It ties everything up really well. Who do you think is the serial killer?
  16. There's at least 2 more dungeons that i can remember. What month are you on? Around December or January something will happen that will force you to make several choices after another. This will take the game in 3 directions, bad route, normal route, true route. IMO i'd say to look up what decisions to make to get the true route. I fucked up and it took my game to the bad path because i decided to.... kill... someone. But yeah the Void Quest dungeon is by far my favorite
  17. Weird to see GD play P4. But yeah the game is AMAZING. P4 has that kinda universal appeal i've noticed where even people who don't like jrpgs appreciate the game's overwhelming amounts of charm and quality. It's in the leagues of games like FFVII and Chrono Trigger The game is pretty long, but the game stays fresh and interesting for the entire game. My favorite are the retro themed dungeon and the strip club dungeon (the music in this dungeon is boss)
