    I'm playing Binary Domain.

    I don't know if i hate it because i think it's bad, or if its the controls that are making me hate it. I wish i could punch the person in the face who allowed them to ship this shit with Xbox button prompts instead of keyboard ones. Stupid fucks

    theres a setting for that in the options :] definitely retarded how its not the default set up though.

    I tried it earlier and it still came out with the xbox buttons. I just tried it again though this time i ran it as administrator and it worked. Thank god.

    Now i can get past the first level. :|

    Currently playing FF XIII-2 and to quote HurricaneMike, "WTF is going on in this game?"

    I even played the first game and I'm just like "Wait... what? I don't even- You know what, fuck it. I'm not even trying to figure this shit out". :ben:

    Makes sense the more you play it. Not much of a spoiler since its revealed pretty early in the game, but the timeline has changed and has been rewritten. Serah exists in a timeline where everyone thinks Lightning actually died at the end of FFXIII and only Serah and Noel know the truth because Lightning exists in the future which is where Noel is from, and she sent Noel back in time to stop Pulse from crashing down in which when they did in the original,it was only temporarily and it happens after several centuries.

    Fucking Terminator type shit. :smoke:

    its actually a lot more easier to follow than XIII. The story was alright, but the cast was probaly the best part of it.

    Please keep that bullshit out of this thread, especially if you're going to shoot yourself in the foot later in your post.

    My post was all in context. I like a certain game, in which the same team previously made games i didn't like and i showcased my distaste for that series.

    I've played both games and am voicing my opinion on both of those games, and i did so without shoehorning myself into any active discussion and quote someone else's post itt to start an argument.

    On the other hand, have you played the game your criticizing in your post? No?

    is there a must play SH? Never player any might just DL em on PC

    The original 4 are all worth playing but 3 is the best. Without a doubt. It looks fantastic on PC too. You could tell they actually took the time on the PC version instead of just a straight console port.

    i wish VII were on PC :meh:

    does origin have more variety/RPG elements? thats my only beef with OiF, it seems really simple and straightforward.

    edit: i just got to the lava dragon. oh lawd :scared:

    Origin has other characters you can play as who are all vastly different which gives the game a lot more replay value and variety, but overall its not radically different from Oath in felghana gameplay wise. There's 4 different kind of Ys games. There's "Classic" Ys: 1 and 2, Garbage Ys: III and IV, Platformer Ys: VI, OiF, Origin, and Action Game Ys: VII, Celceta

    Seven is the one with the fuck-awesome combat. Most fans are split between the action game Ys and the platformer ones.

    I made the mistake of selecting nightmare mode and made it to their before i said fuck it, restarted on normal.

    It's a good game but i still say there's better Ys games available. Ys II, Origin, and 7 are GOAT.

    busted out the ps2 to play some shit, now it's xenosaga (my wait-for-digital-devil-saga-to-come game)

    xenosaga is really...cutscene heavy lol

    Xenosaga 1 still has the longest cutscenes I've ever experieinced in a game. The first cutscene alone was like 40mins or such? With MGS it's like a 15-20hr game with long cutscenes, Xenosaga is a 50hr game with even longer cutscenes. I think it's still the only game that actually has save points inbetween cutscenes too.

    I liked Xenosaga wayyyyyyyy more than both Digital Devil Sagas though I think DDS would probably be more fun to play today since it's likely aged better. Xenosaga had really crude visuals and a lot of grayness. The sequels are a lot more colorful and pleasent to look at.
