Unless I’m high, the game might be kinda broken. The first little boss of the game you fight you’re using a torch to fight him, when you die it automatically restarts. That’s fine except it restarts me without my torch with no way of going back and getting another one. There was nothing I could do till i reloaded a previous save. Ok I let it slide. But now I’m at another set piece which requires me to move a certain piece so I did it but ended up dying. That’s all fine it except it automatically starts me at the beginning but the piece I moved didn’t revert back and now I can’t proceed at all

Any place you can’t proceed to is obvious so you look at the map and you see where to go to and theres always a part that’s blacked out without an outline and I move there and that’s the way to go, but like 75 percent of the time I’ve went the right away. Castlevania and Metroid are a million times worse. I can’t play those without a guide

You finding this one easier? Not too much but quite a bit. I played the first on hard and it kicked my ass. Here I’m about 10 hours in on hard and I haven’t had much trouble. Maybe it’s because I already had experience so I kind understood how to play it, and the logic of the puzzles are similar to the first, or maybe it’s because the save system isn’t as punishing as the first one but I’m breezing right through areas and puzzles. thats not a knock on it though if anything they found a perfect balance because in 1 there were a few sections where I had to do 50 times
