I spent a few hours in the extra dungeon that unlocks to grind out and even for me it took awhile but it wasn't hard.

The last fight in the game is very very long.

AFAIK it's the social hooks that has GD wanting more lol.

There's a maximum amount of floors you can travel before you reach a boss and a closed of floor that'll open once you progress with story. Your party can become fatigued forcing you out sooner which is only an issue early on and there's essentially checkpoints on floors, not sure how big the gap is that'll let you back. Maybe 5 increments not sure.

P3s persona summon is also far superior.

Its a lot more menu based and point and click instead of moving around.

Yeah, they're great. I mean you won't come across someone as outlandish as Teddy and the fashion show scene and it's just 1 dungeon for like 200 floors or something so that's a bit of. bummer but it's still great. Fun characters, fun social links, and an engaging story.

It's newer? I think. P3 and P4 have a lot of similarities, you even visit P3s setting in P4. I think the other games are way different though. The only hugely noticeable difference is tone.

Have you played Parasite Eve? They aren't "quirky" but I think you'd enjoy the horror aspect of them.
