In some aspects, yes. The huge difference is the tone, P3 is dark and dreary and P4 is quirky and bright.

3 has many more things thatll turn you off from the series IE dungeon aesthetic. In P4 you go through multiple dungeons with different tile sets that fit the character their for, in P3 it's just 1 dungeon with gates that prevent you from progressing until the story says so. P3 has Aegis though.

If you decide to play through to the end you might want to look up a guide when you get around December. There's choices that need to be made so you can get the "True" ending, hell ill even read over that part as to not spoil anything for yourself.

The opening cutscene was enough to crave for more <3. Game has fantastic characters which is awesome after TR.

Yeah, there's a lot more to Bioshocks falling than enemy variety especially after meeting Ryan. I love the game but after that whole scene it's just not that fun of a game, the drive is all gone.

They use Handymen infrequently, You fight 4 or 5 theough out the whole game and its always a good time.
