Haven't had much time to play around in CoH but if the rest of the game is anything like the first 2 missions it's going to be one helluva game.

About to play CoH.

You have to be 10 levels +/- from each other and someone has to be in Soul form and drop his summon stone out of sight so no one else happens to summon you. The person who's in soul form won't get any credit for completing Acts and after every act/boss you get sent back to your world.

Yeah, it's no sleeper hit or nothing. i was kind of hoping it would be. though it did have that "generic" look. though the time-based feature sounded promising. The art style is really bland and the visuals are far from being considered eye candy. There were countless times where the texture on enemies wouldn't pop in. I was like DAYUM YO. It's a cool concept but there has been games that offered something to the same extent (not time based obv) and have done it way better. It's almost exactly like BioShock, the similarities only make the game worse since BS offered a MUCH better atm

It might not even be worth playing TBH. Nolan North does some VA and that was the best part so far.

any time-based puzzles? A few, some are pretty neat and getting into some hidden areas requires you to speed up/rewind the age of objects which is kinda cool and unlike BioShock the Rifle actually handle well. The game is pretty ugly though.

Decided to download Singularity yesterday, games OK. Nothing worth writing home about, just feels like BioShock.

I'm not sure if it's possible, but it would take a REALLY long time to get it accomplished. You're really better off playing the game twice.

Eh maybe. I'm thinking Tales of Vesperia. I loved Symphonia back on the GC, and this looks pretty similar to it gameplay wise. They're probably the same exact game combat-wise. That stuff just gets awfully boring, if you want something active I've heard nothing but praise for RoF hence the recommendation. Valkyrie Profile 2 was a great game and it kept you involved every battle so I don't doubt RoFs praise.

I heard LO has a pretty decent story and solid turn based gameplay. Some good ole fashioned JRPGing LO's story is forgettable and the combat system isn't anything to write home about. If you have a DS or you missed out on old PS2 JRPGs I recommend them A LOT more.

Lost Odyssey isn't worth the time and shit like Crackdown has always been garbage.

Well I meant replaying some games and shit like that though I really want to play through MGS3 again.

Seems to be heading in that direction, I'll pick up the big titles and play through them like usual but I think I'm done with those time fillers.

i'm at the halfway point of my second playthrough. been mostly playing handheld games. I've been pretty burnt out on everything gaming since the beginning of the year, seems to only be getting worse. :(

Beat Uncharted 2 again over the weekend but that's about it. Haven't really sunk my teeth into anything.

RDR is way shorter than DAO so tackle that first, I beat RDR in 14 hours. Skipped a lot of the side content but I didn't want to get bored of the game prior to finishing it so I'm glad I did, left a great impression.

I played NG+ for a bit then I started on Valkyria Chronicles. Got pretty far but the battles were getting long. So I stopped so i can get started on FFXIII. I finished chapter 11 but I didn't leave gran pulse yet. I want do some CP grinding. Ah yeah, I should really get back into VC. I never knew it had a suspend feature until someone here brought it up and some battles would take WAY too long.
