  1. Yup, I know. I just don't think running around collecting that stuff is fun so I won't bother wasting my time.
  2. "Finished" SMO, have no real interest in going for the 500 moons/final level stuff. Fun game, defo not for me.
  3. Uh I finished New Donk City, collected like 150+ moons. I'll keep plucking away at here and there.
  4. Picked up SMO over the weekend then proceeded to play a new Divinity 2 campaign. It's safe to say i'm done spending money on Mario games. Always get sold on the "this is the one that got me" but they never do.
  5. TEW2 > RE7 without a doubt. Finished Hellblade and I don't get what people saw in that game. By the last half you're tired of the combat, the voice gimmick isn't as great, and the puzzles are garbage.
  6. I'll have to check them out, with new consoles out I don't have to worry about much to play lol. Finally getting around to P4G next week then I'm stumped. I'll dive into BoF first since I've already done the XII thing and I know I'll get stuck in the same situation. I can't help but focus on a full parties wort of characters and neglect all the other which was hazardous IIRC in XII
  7. Think I might DL XII again instead. I never ended up finishing it because I play JRPGs terribly.
  8. After years of being told how awesome Dragon Quest VIII is I decided to give it a whirl. Downloaded an emulator and the game proceeded to boot it up, was impressed how the art scaled to 1080p, got into my first random encounter and shut it off. Random encounters are the bane of my existence.
  9. Man, if only I knew that the flamethrower was an insta kill in TLoU I would've used it way more often during the hospital segments lol. Oh well, Survivor NG+ done. Bummed out that there are online trophies, will be the only ND game I don't Plat ;)
  10. Really wish they would've released it on PC because it runs like dog shit on consoles.
  11. Some skills are cross class as well, so regardless you should play multiple vocations when playing DD. Classes cap out anyway.
  12. Probably took me 3 hours? I combed every inch I could though and took in a lot of the intro. Reviewers were saying as little as 2 hours but I'm sure it's even shorter.
  13. It's primarily new stuff with familiar faces and voices. Been so long since I played the original but I don't think you retread any old steps. It takes place before Raptures decline.
  14. Started and beat Burial at Sea, some great sights to be seen but it all felt pretty nonsensical in the end. When the game shifts gears and starts to become more combat focused the world of Rapture felt empty, when enemies popped up it just didn't have that same vibe as the original Bioshock, they felt planted if that makes sense.
  15. What I meant, and should've said, is just that if he doesn't like it now there's no real point to stick with it.
  16. Dragons Dogma plays it's strengths pretty early on, the combat doesn't really change all too much and the encounters just get painfully easy as you progress. No sense in mentioning anything else because it's all pretty shitty.
  17. Beat Golden Abyss. Alright little game, rather Sony Bend had done something else. It's more or less a straight to DVD Uncharted. Everything Bend added to the franchise only detracted from it IMO but I guess that's the growing pains of a launch game on a handheld with a ton of throw away features.
  18. It's about the journey not the destination man, you just don't get it. ;(
  19. Well isn't it supposed to be a metaphor for the dude getting beat by his alcoholic father? But yeah, as GD said I think it got panned pretty hard for its mechanics.
