  1. I posted the Irish study as well which confirms this one. https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/coronavirus/vitamin-d-deficiency-may-be-linked-to-more-severe-cases-of-covid-19-studies-suggest-1.4937535 And one out of Illinois. Sufficient levels of vitamin D prevent the cytokine storm which is what is causing severe cases od Covid and deaths.
  2. A suggestive set of numbers was published online in April by a medical scientist in the Philippines, Dr Mark Alipio. Of 49 patients with mild symptoms of Covid-19 in three hospitals in southern Asian countries, only two had low levels of vitamin D; of 104 patients with critical or severe symptoms, only four did not have low levels of vitamin D. The more severe the symptoms, the more likely a patient was to be not just low but deficient in the vitamin. Could vitamin D deficiency make the difference between getting very ill or not? There has long been evidence that a sufficiency of vitamin D protects against viruses, especially respiratory ones, including the common cold. Vitamin D increases the production of antiviral proteins and decreases cytokines, the immune molecules that can cause a “storm” of dangerous inflammation. It has long been suspected that most people’s low vitamin D levels in late winter partly explain the seasonal peaking of flu epidemics, and rising vitamin D levels in spring partly explain their sudden ending. Vitamin D is made by ultraviolet light falling on the skin, https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/05/03/time-take-seriously-link-vitamin-d-deficiency-serious-covid/
  3. Yes because vitamin d deficiency studies by major universities are "Alex Jones" type shit. Holy fuck dude.
  4. A vitamin d deficiency does not cause Covid but having enough may prevent you from dying. Why is this so hard to grasp?

  8. So are many things but the media still covers shit like drinking bleach
  9. Lol what? Overweight people have low vitamin d levels because they're fat and don't go in the sun and fat prevents vitamin d absorption. Black and Hispanics have darker skin which prevents vitamin d absorption in darker colder climates like new York. And people in long term homes? Yeah I doubt they are getting enough vitamin d as well. You must see the correlation no?
  10. Because some people want this bullshit to continue for reasons
  11. 98% of people who have died from Covid were vitamin D deficient. https://www.bmj.com/content/369/bmj.m1548/rr-6
  12. You have a bigger government with 10x more employees to enact policy. It's all relative.
  13. “This study further confirms this association. We call on the Irish government to update guidelines as a matter of urgency and encourage all adults to take supplements during the COVID-19 crisis. Deficiency is frequent in Ireland. Deficiency is most prevalent with age, obesity, in men, in ethnic minorities, in people with diabetes, hypertension and in nursing homes.” Take vitamin D guys!! https://scitechdaily.com/vitamin-d-determines-severity-in-covid-19-researchers-urge-government-to-change-advice/
