They are going to shove movies down the throats of their gaming consumers.  It starts with PSNow and streaming.  They probably think a bunch of shitty Sony movies will make up for not releasing their first party games day and date...  

 

They're going to try to turn the PS5 into a media box....  that didn't work out for MS... and wont work out for them either... especially if they have the weaker hardware.

if you were to corner any of them at a bar or something where they didnt have to worry about keeping up an internet persona, they'd tell you yeah playstation kicked the shit out of xbox this gen (half are confirmed ps4 owners). like, this is dominance we havent seen since the ps2 era. worse actually - og xbox had exclusives.

so basically, gaming is already dominating thanks to playstation, and now the movie studios are surging too thanks to hits like jumanji and venom. oh and spiderman is going to get milked for everything  from movies, to tv, to more AAAe's for ps5. basically sony as a whole are stronger than theyve been in years, going from the company where everything was dying except playstation to the more well rounded entertainment form of their heyday.
