How does MS even market XBox Stream and XBox Scarlet togther?

Recommended Posts

I think MS is going to turn into the Fortnite box - market it to casuals, keep updates coming for their games (cosmetics, DLC, map packs), and get as many people as they can on  Xpass for the continual dollars.

What I mean by Fortnite isn't that it will be dedicated to playing Fortnite, but Epic have essentially perfected the economics of a free game; now obviously you can't give away hardware, but you can make it extremely cheap, accessible, and then just put a subscription and virtual currency behind it to recoup your costs.

Market them as two completely different products because they are.

This is LALALA land, when the other two boxes have real exclusives that are either GOTY contenders or GOTYs.

What the fuck are you going to market it? As a side optional, non essential box?

its going to be a tough balancing act but they can pull it off because next gen will be a transition Gen for them

I can feel the forced hope in your comment, not that you necessarily believe that but rather you're pressing it hoping for it to be the case.

Im not hoping anything.

MS already announced their 3rd party intentions.

Yes they will also have a console next gen..... you're HOPING that they make another one after that. :cmpunk2:

They haven't announced any third party intentions, you're trying to fill in voids and imply things they never said.
