I just fucking hate that remake, some of cutscenes changes are seriously terrible, it's inferior to the original in almost every way. Snake riding a missile. I'd rather see a remake done by Japanese devs at Konami than Silicon Fucking Knights. Even without Kojima input, maybe they'll try to innovate (not just remake the original but worse), like what Capcom is doing with RE2 right now without Kamiya/Mikami inputs... Hopefully. I'mma throw out a hot take: that game is bad because MGS2's gameplay isn't really that great. Copy/pasting it into bosses and environments not made for it makes it worse. They didn't perfect that until they release MGS3: Subsistence (with the 3D camera), and even then it's just decent. MGSV is where they made the best damn stealth game, ever.
