I think plenty of people would know that the overall pattern of the song is not very complicated. I bet if you slowed the song down, it would remind me of certain pop songs from the 80's. So, if you know the typical patterns, you just speed those up. From her perspective, she played TONS of other songs, pop music songs, and she already knows similar chord progressions, and she's just figuring out the pattern of this particular song, and just plugging in the chord progressions. And she does it at the fast pace of this song. I love the additional flourishes she does on her keyboard to just make it sound more classy. This guy is seeing Koji Kondo's Mario compositions for the first time, and playing it right then and there. (called Sight Read). Link to post Share on other sites
