Anyone familiar with the Denver Colorado area?

Some friends and I decided to plan a spontaneous trip to that area for some reason. We have a tour of the rockies scheduled but thats about it, anything else worth seeing/doing in the vicinity?

This is actually a really cool city. First thing I noticed is that it’s cleaner and smells better than many of the other cities i’ve been to. It’s really booming development wise too, there’s new buildings all over the place. Even in the few dirtier and more run down areas there’s new apartments and modern looking houses on almost every corner.

 

The only downside is that unsurprisingly it’s a very liberal city (the marijuana legalization didn’t help). Expect to see plenty of weird looking hipsters and homeless people.

I was there yesterday, it’s a neat place. Probably would be a lot of fun to see a concert there.
