Nah... the east got better.  They got worse, much worse.

Lol do you even watch ball? The Raps are still a 4-6 seed. Who is gonna be ahead of them? The Raps were 17-5 without Kawhi last year.

Lowry/Powell/OG/Siakam/Gasol with Serge and FVV is still a solid lineup in the East for the regular season.

Philly and Milwaukee are the only teams that are clearly better.

After that it’s teams like Indiana and Boston. Boston got worse and unless Hayward has a big bounce back year they’re going nowhere. Indiana could be good but Dipo could still be out till like January.

Brooklyn is a non factor this year while they wait for KD.

Detroit and Orlando are more or less the same teams. Miami got Butler but the rest of the team kinda sucks.

The rest of the teams are awful.

Barring injuries or blowing it up (I can’t see Masai trading anyone except maybe Gasol at the deadline, unless Kyle/Serge specifically want to leave) they’re gonna be in that Boston/Indiana/Brooklyn group.

Siakam is gonna have another big year and OG should bounce back (he did good in the starting role before they got Kawhi and he had a tough year with injury luck). Kyle, Gasol, Fred and Serge are all still really good players.

Do you really think the Pistons are going to be better than the Raps next year, Gouk?

The raps will be what they were before last year.  Do decent in the regular season and flop early in the playoffs.

damn, westbrook and harden reunited could be epic or a disaster. still a great trade for houston, paul is done and has one of the worst contracts in the league.

i am pleasantly happy that OKC stole a franchise, and was given Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and Serge Ibaka and has absolutely jackshit to show for it.
