Mr. House 3,371
Pfft, lol. It's not like any Democratic leader can do whatever he wants whenever he wants with a country's finance. Otherwise Trump would have built his wall a long time ago. If you want to see true modern day dictators. Go live in Russia, China or Venezuela or some shit hole Arab country. So your defense is "well, he hasn't broken all of our democratic systems yet, so I won't do anything right now"? Jesus. No wonder they watered-down critical thinking in our public schools. ROFLMAO No my defense is there's actual dictators running countries right now with impunity in broken/corrupt Government systems. At least we ain't North Korea. Unless you don't believe in democratic values no more.

Unless you don't believe in democratic values no more. Defying court orders? Breaking emoluments clauses by financially putting goverment money through his businesses? Breaking Nepotism laws? Committing Obstruction of Justice? Not being prosecuted because his political party is protecting him? You are saying that you're not gonna worry about it until it gets worse........that's not how its supposed to work. The Washington Post had an article today in which Congress asked Richard Nixon to turn over his taxes.........and they gave it to them within one day. Trump defied a subpeona and argued that Congress simply doesn't have that right. So I am giving you clear examples in which we HAVE LAWS that give other branches of government power over the President (that is why we call it "Checks and Balances").......and Trump is saying "nah, they don't really have that power" And you don't think he going to respond like that MORE and MORE in the future? I wanna see a percentage of how much of "the good stuff" is shared with the American people. Maybe 25%. Compared to other countries, I wonder how average we do. U right it's not as bleak as it appears, but all the wealth and masquerading, is definitely not the people's product or wealth. I'm happy trump doesn't have unbridled power. Ramza right with that. Ramza right with that. its part of the country's GDP and that helps, as someone originally from one of the many countries out there where the educated rich left and stayed out. SheepKilla 473
this thread is drawing conclusions based on false dichotomies. Money is a major motivator for humans in general. Strong nationalism = a few people will profit off that. The exact opposite, globalism with completely open borders = a few people will profit off that. See? No difference.
