Navi 12 under the 5800 series veil appears to be on the way

Navi 20 seems to be the big boy (5900 series), 12 seems to be the 2080 / 2080 Ti answer. 

 

As of right now the 2080 Ti bears about a 35-40% advantage to the 5700 XT, the speculation is a 56 and 64 CU version of the basically what the 5700 XT is will be what these cards are, RX 5800 and RX 5800XT. So that would be a 40% and 60% increase in compute units which would theoretically place both well above the 2080 and 2080 Ti respectively and even the 56 CU version on par with if not better than the 2080 Ti.

Lisa Su confirmed high-end Navi cards are on the way @ 7nm, so it won't be based on RDNA 2. I could see a 56/64 DCU Navi card competing with 2080 and 2080 Ti based on 5700/5700 XT results; however, I think they're going to be hot as fuck.
