Haptic feedback patent.

According to the present example, as illustrated in FIG. 8(A), when the user presses in the rocking button from the initial position, the user presses in the rocking button without receiving any resistance at all (while merely resisting the biasing force attempting to return the rocking button to the initial position). The user receives a presentation of a tactile force sense such that the resistance gradually increases while the position of the arm is in a range from θ = 20 to θ = 40. A tactile force sense of a relatively strong reaction force (force attempting to push back) is presented while the position of the arm is in a range from θ = 40 to θ = 80. When the user presses in the rocking button until the position of the arm 323 becomes θ = 80, the user receives a tactile force sense as if the reaction force disappeared suddenly.

This precisely corresponds to a state in which a tactile force sense corresponding to a kickback feeling of a gun, as it were, is presented, that is, corresponds to a sequence in which there is play at first when the trigger of a pistol or the like is pulled, there is a slight reaction force until a hammer is pulled, a strong force thereafter becomes necessary to return the hammer, a bullet is fired when the hammer then returns, and the trigger is set free.

Matt flatout said one system is more powerful than the other, by a small margin. It's apparently the PS5.

Edit: Kleegamefan also confirmed a PS5 advantage.

Dynocrap is now pretending to play stupid and act like he didn't make concrete claims about the PS5.

Japanese source apparently confirmed PSVR backward compatibility.

I thought that was already confirmed, or was that just a rumor?

Yeah, that is their smartest move. Wait for updating the PSVR2 until sometime in 2022.

What would be awesome is if the PS5 can somehow improve the image quality of the graphics inside the PSVR's headset. And I hope that their PSVR2 is not based on the same type of tech as the PSVR1, but rather some other superior form of headset and hand tracking.

This was confirmed a long time ago.

I'll probably wait for the system refresh mid-gen like most Sony consoles. Their OG models are usually ugly and the first couple years usually are pretty poor software wise.

Why is it going to be funny?

Is this any different than you making up your own unsubstantiated rumors about PS5 not having hardware based ray tracing? So when the 180 hits I'll be able to still claim it was accurate at the time and that you're a retard? :wonder:

Also, don't forget the Editor-in-Chief from GameInformer also heard PS5 > Scarlett. :juggle:
