weird, considering this came out last year

https://www.vox.com/2019/3/21/18275796/happiness-report-usa-ranking-2019

i've worked in news for a long time. people are more miserable than ever (i've seen hundreds of studies). it's more than just politics, so, i'm not blaming trump. a lot has to do with the opioid crisis, increasing pay gaps, rise of social media and its toxicity, etc...

This is like the type of shit you'd see in old magazines of Readers Digest.

Its funny that you reek of desperation like the George Constanza's of the world......but now you're following the same shit as George Constanza's mom.:drake:

BTW, the happiest country now for several years running is Finland. Who, you know, have a democratic socialist government. :reg:

Well thats comparing things on a worldwide scale. The study I posted only covers America (specifically in the past 40 years). There are obviously still a lot of issues but I think in general a strong economy results in a higher population of happy people.

Wage growth has failed to match inflation. A strong stock market does jack shit for most Americans. $20/hr is the equivalent of $8/hr 40 years ago. The federal minimum wage is still $7.25/hr,

People aren’t happier now lol. I can find 100+ studies from REAL sources that confirm this.

How am I the bitter one? I can't say anything remotely positive about Trump on this forum without you immediately jumping on my balls with your petty insults. You're like the politics version of JonB, but at least he has somewhat of a personality and doesn't exist solely to be an annoying, miserable twat.

I was happier under the Bush administration but that doesn't detract from Trump. Society is still in the process of recovering from the damage done during the Obama administration.

People got really weird during and on the heels of that period of time, but are beginning to normalize again. SJW culture and political correctness seem to be fading, wokeness and virtue signaling is becoming less prominent, identity politics are being called out more.

People are beginning to wake up and realize that whole leftist mentality is crazy, it's miserable, illogical and makes everyone's lives more stressful and difficult.

The Jerry's of the world are losing steam.
