I not only had dictation over my plan, I can go to any doctor in my network which is a substantial amount. Any job that is worth a damn will have coverage.

“In my network” what a sad ass fucking system :drake:

I can go to any job in the country and have coverage, I can go start my own business or lose a job and still have health cover and see any doctor.

So? I swear to God my brain is fucking melting from the thought cancer of the Trump people on this forum.

There's a ton of Bernie supporters in 2016 that support Trump. It was an anti establishment vote.

Your brain is melting because you have Trump derangement syndrome.

"your economics" are irrelevant. They aren't sound economics, we have proof of better, cheaper systems.

Its simply not up for debate.

Secondly..........it is the law that people MUST BE GIVEN emergency medical care. That includes ambulances and ER visits. Nixon wrote that bill into law almost 50 years ago.

What you are saying it just border idiotic.

Not to mention........if you buy for-profit health insurance.............you are a free-rider.

What do you think paying for insurance entails? You are paying into a pool of people gathering their money to cover the medical expenses of people. And if you ever require medical services, PEOPLE ARE PAYING YOUR FULL COSTS with that pool of money.

So the only way you are not a free-rider...........is if you have no health insurance, and are paying FULL PRICE for all medical services out of your own pocket. Which, if that ever happens...........you clearly won't do that.

How are you a "free" rider if you're paying into the system, dumbfuk?

Because a pool of people paying insurance premiums means that YOU are not paying the full cost of your medical services.

Its socialism..........however the social pool of people paying into it is being operated by a FOR-PROFIT private entity.

You are a still a free-rider if you buy insurance in the current system.

The only way you are NOT a free-rider is if you do not have insurance and you pay FULL PRICE out of your own pocket for all medical services you receive.

I can go anywhere too but my plan is also 950 bucks a month and my employer pays for 750 of that.  So you can eat a dick.  Also if I left my job I would lose my insurance and then have to pay 950 a month for it.  U.S. healthcare is shit.  Fuck you

As if you're definitions for "socialism" couldn't get more ridiculous.

Its very simply.........are you paying full price of the medical bill, 100%?

Are you in a pool of people, and the "risk" being carried by all of those people, when you have a health insurance policy?

Yes or No?

Because if the "risk" is being paid by the entire collective pool of people paying into it, then the "risk" is "socialized"

That's socialism. Except the organization running and organizing the pool and conducting the payout is privatized.

You still don't understand. Socialism is a METHOD of how you pay something. I've only told you this about 8 times already.

because...........its an even more effective payment method.

Because

there's

only

one

"payer"

Like..........a "Single Payer"

And it doesn't operate at a profit. Which means that it becomes cheaper for everyone involved.

DO you understand that you just helped me explain that Socialism doesn't change the hospitals, doesn't change the hospital equipment, doesn't change the type of doctors, the nurses, the hospital staff, doesn't change the quality of healthcare.

Its literally just a PAYMENT METHOD done in the most simple, direct, and universal way possible. No 20 healthcare companies running 20 offices with 20 different types of paperwork, with different paperwork for each state.

Just one health insurance provider, that provides the same rules across all 50 states.

DO you not see the "efficiency" in that?

Lets use your dumbfuck definition of socialism from the last thread.

Quote
  • You cannot opt-out of it.
  • Everybody who earns an income pays for it.
  • The government collects it
  • The government calculates and decides how much everybody gets
  • People who are on the upper end of the tax, when they end up getting their payout, will be lower than what they paid into it
  • People who are on the lower end of the tax, when they end up getting their payout, will be higher than what they paid into it.
  • The government is literally averaging and equalizing the payout, by design.

Health insurance does this

X You cannot opt-out of it.

Everybody who earns an income pays for it.

The government collects it

The government calculates and decides how much everybody gets

People who are on the upper end of the tax, when they end up getting their payout, will be lower than what they paid into it

People who are on the lower end of the tax, when they end up getting their payout, will be higher than what they paid into it.

The government is literally averaging and equalizing the payout, by design.

Turns out health insurance doesn't do anything of your definitions of socialism for the last thread. Which one is socialist, social security or Health insurance? One meets the definition you gave, the other does not. So which one is it dumbfuck?

you cannot choose which pool of people you are joined in.

you cannot dictate where your money goes

substitute "the government" with "the private company" and everything else operates the same.

Like I said.............its a PAYMENT METHOD.

A payment method that can be operated by a government entity, or a private corporation.

Except the private corporation is intentionally not as efficient as it could be, because they operate at a profit.

But the method is exactly the same.

You "socialize" the risk, do you not?

Sorry.............poor attempt at semantics isn't going to work with me.

You just keep replying no matter how embarrassing it must be for you.

You don't need to buy health insurance.

Rich people especially don't need health insurance.

You can opt out of buying health insurance.

You're the one playing semantic games by switching words in your definition to make it "operate the same."

Either things have definitions or they don't. Socialism isn't what you think it is.

And you're not that.

Which is why I said that if you buy health insurance..........you are STILL a free-rider.

Did you forget the context in which this argument even started in the first place?

A health insurance plan involves the socializing of risk. It is, inherently, a concept around social financial support.

Do you honestly think I'm noticing you run over to new subjects???? LOL

Socialism is a method.

You're still not understanding that. You're trying to get away with semantics, and it isn't working.

I guess the most recent debate boosted Amy? Also Biden in single digits in 5th place. Lol

Yeah. Which is perfectly fine. because Klobuchar may actually be hampering Pete tonight. This allows Bernie to come out with the win.

And now I'm hearing that Klobuchar has no ground game in Nevada, so she's going to lose that next one. Pete's going to lose that one.

Biden is going to lose Nevada, and his money is running out, so he went straight to S.C. this afternoon. He straight-up left the state of NH early, so they knew that it was going to be bad tonight.

Bernie vs Klobuchar is quite pleasant, actually. That should be doable for Bernie.  Its obvious now that Bloomberg is going to try and come in and try and take on Bernie in the South on Super Tuesday.
