it makes no sense. they're under contract to not put it anywhere else, but for how long?

 

I Could see Sony buying it out indefinitely. It's the most important game they have in Japan, if not they'd be getting eaten alive by Nintendo in that market even more.

Persona 5 Striker sold much better on PS4 than on Switch in Japan, 2:1 iirc. Persona 5 original release is Atlus fastest selling game ever. 

 

Dragon Quest XI sold much more on PS4 than the late port did on Switch, this wouldnt be any different.

 

Looks like they are doing fine without Nintendo.
