They marketed it has a look at "next-gen games" running on Series X and hyped up AC Vallhalla like we'd be seeing gameplay specifically because MS used that word. The ending result was nothing that they hyped it up to be. The games and stuff were fine. It's the marketing and the hype MS failed to live up which they themselves caused. How out of touch can you get. also, It's not enough to secure ports of yakuza and namco-bandai anime games. this should be expected at this point. Their REVEAL was multiplats and AA indie games from nobodies like Blooper Team. The xbox platform right now, from someone on the outside looking in, is the least attractive platform to play on bar none. But let's be clear... these are mostly small studios and this is not at all a good representation of what real next gen games will look like... so in that sense.. it was a disappointment. But considering they have a whole summer lined up of reveals, it's understandable that they aren't going to show the great stuff off at first. A lot of the other big 3rd parties will likely want to have their own events and display their games in the way that they want them to. That said... MS' messaging here was wrong. They did not set expectations accordingly and have to take the L on this one. People are thirsty for big budget next gen hits. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
