Need suggestions for shoes. Suffering from foot pain

Recommended Posts

I can't say for certain what I have cause I can't even go to a doctor or go to a place that sells decent shoes right now.

I know I have a high arch and I feel pain and swelling on a tendon? So I'm not sure if it is tendonitis or something else. I have had problems before with nerve pain and I did stretches for piriformis syndrome and that seemed to help for that. I really don't wanna self diagnose with this and am willing to go to the doctor. Obviously, I can't now.

This however, I'm not sure if it's related or what. The pain is actually on my foot and around my heel and outside of the foot.

For sure the shoes I was using make the pain worse, I tried an old broken pair and the pain wasn't as bad.

This is the shoe I was using for work and make it painful

The ones that aren't as painful to use are some basketball style nike ones that are high top and I think I want something like that to protect my ankles. I don't know if my supination now is being caused by this thing that is happening to me now, but I read it is also more common with people who have high arches.

Since all I've bought are nikes for most of my life since they have worked, I don't know anything else. I need suggestions for shoes that are tall like boots. I'm not sure if I should get work type boots though. At my job I do have to stand and walk a lot. So if there some light or sneakerish boots that would be good. I'm open to anything and I'll spend money 100-200 if I have to at one of these shoes stores if I have to.

I'll get the virus

The average doctor's office should be pretty safe, especially if they're following the right protocols. If they suspect someone has the virus they won't just let them waltz in without taking the right preventative measures.

I didn't even know they were open. The clinic I go to is closed and a buddy's also. Looked up places for dentist appointment recently and they were also closed. I think they said it was for emergencies only at the hospital.

Get some new balances and call it a day

It can't be that easy. I didn't even know about those cross-training shoes.  Or that a certain type of shoe would fuck me up more. I'll consider it though. Fucking virus
