Ok? Crime is still up overall, including murder.

And as if thats not bad enough....

Number of police officers filing for early retirement is up 400%

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8504523/NYPD-limits-retirement-applications-cops-file-amid-400.html

And then theres the sanitation issues, with rats crawling all over the place and even attacking people dining outdoors

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8510109/Diners-forced-sidewalks-restaurants-attacked-RATS.html

So many problems plaguing this city, but I guess painting a BLM mural takes priority according to the mayor....

Restaurants that weren't designed to have outdoor dining are now doing so to avoid having crowds eating next to each other indoors.  This had been approved by the city.  It allows social distancing while reopening businesses and starting the economy.

NYC has had a rat issue before Covid19 and will continue to have one post COVID-19.  If restaurants that weren't initially built for outdoor dining are doing so now... you will increase the potential of seeing rats..... but guess what... that's a good compromise given the other options which are... only indoor dining (madness).... or not opening the businesses.

But you know what's NOT PLAGUING NYC right now?  Coronavirus......  Because NY is taking the right steps as they reopen.

You know what's plaguing other states right now and they're seeing RECORD BREAKING NUMBERS in those states?.... oh yea Coronavirus.... because they opened early with ZERO restrictions.

Lol at you expecting a response.   That's "old news" bro.... they've moved on to something else now.....and when that doesn't pan out... on to the next.... rinse and repeat.

COVID has nothing to do with this argument, try to stay on topic.

And NY’s low number of new cases is due to the steps taken at the state level, not anything de Blasio did. In fact things would have been worse if cuomo didn’t reign him in, pretty sure the dude wanted to keep schools open while the virus was ravaging the city.

The U.S isn't doing great but they aren't in the top 5 anymore. Unfortunately this isn't something the news cares to report.

Bro you brought up rats "attacking" people outside and im explaining to you why those people are even outside in the first place to see rats.  It has to do with the steps to combat Coronavirus.... so that's very much on topic.

Actually Neither wanted to keep schools open....but NYC couldn't close schools before the state went on lockdown genius.

because who would be taking care of the children if the parents are at work and the state wasn't on lockdown as yet?

So NYC schools had to stay open until the State went on lockdown.  Once that happened school's were closed as well.

Except for the fact, that I have clearly posted examples of states undercounting obvious covid deaths as pneumonia deaths that have spiked 400% within the past 4 months.

You guys keep on trying to return to this, when we all know that the numbers are sloppy and inaccurate in ALL of those countries.

Lol why are you acting brand new right now? I’m talking about how weeks ago you claimed the virus is weaker and isn’t killing many due to it. yet these states record highest recorded death totals for a day since the pandemic began. Weak, right?

Theres far more cases so naturally theres going to be more deaths. I never argued against that, I always talked about the actual death rate. The virus is weaker because despite the record new cases, its still not killing as many people as it did during the peak in april/may.

I find it funny how Twinblade is always asked to keep strictly to the topic (when he is just providing more relevant context/evidence), while this post completely did a whole topic shift to covid management by states.

Regardless, New York was by far the hardest hit state with coronavirus. They broadcast footage of mass graves being dug on live television at one point. And then you have the nursing home fiasco. It is extremely hard to praise NY for a good job if one is being honest.

The record breaking Numbers that other states are having now.... are called record breaking because it's higher than every other state including NY......and these states are having these record breaking Numbers while the rest of the world is getting the spread of the virus under control.
