So I got a little further in Jedi Fallen Order

after initially abandoning the game weeks after buying it last year.  I made it to the 2nd chapter on the planet Zeffo and I find myself trying to solve got darn sphere puzzles in an ancient tomb. I'm like this game is borderline mediocre.

Aren't you a Tomb Raider fan? That puzzle was very TR-esque, and wasn't that hard overall.

I think my complete lack of not playing any Souls games is helping me enjoy the game.

 

If its a simplified Souls game, I'd rather play this first and then the more advanced games after that.

Im not sure why the game gets such a bad rep. I wasn't even into the whole Star Wars theme but I still enjoyed it just as a well made Souls-like action/adventure game.

Souls outside of Sekiro have a very basic combat system. It's just Fallen Orders interpretation is kinda crappy. After Sekiro it's plan bad, especially how dodges and parties feel.

Sometimes my patients for puzzles run thin, although I'm more willing to figure them out in Tomb Raider as the game is 100 times better than this game in delivering McGuffin style gameplay.

I did get through Zeffo though, with the help of a guide. 

This game just plays very slow.   Visually it's appealing but that's about it.
