Quad Damage 1,853 Posted July 29, 2020 Share Posted July 29, 2020 xbox one had exclusives in its first 15 months - dead rising 3, forza, killer instinct, ryse, sunset overdrive, titanfall 1, etc. sure they turned out to be duds, but they were enough to fool xbox fanboys into thinking they'd be worthwhile. xbox series x has zero exclusives from day 1. it has halo infinite at launch (cross gen/last gen) and then nothing for years except psychonauts 2 (on ps4) and maybe a forza early access. 2021 is gonna be UGLY 1 Link to post Share on other sites

One of them was to launch the Xbox One as a multimedia console that would be a living room hub as well as a games console, big mistake. Another was to think that the hardcore gamer and console exclusives games did not matter as much, and that the Xbox could continue the success of the 360 with the same tired franchises and big multi-platform games like CoD and GTA. They wound up getting completely blindsided by Sony of course, who did invest in first party studios and exclusives towards the latter end of the PS3 and it has really paid dividends this gen.
