So Trump actually spoke with Bob Woodward recently, about a month before the book was coming out. Guess what? Bob Woodward recorded THAT conversation, and it may actually be even worse than his comments in March.

Bob Woodward is SLOWLY explaining to the President, "y'know this virus thing, its affect regular peoples' lives. People are hurting."

 

Trump stays silent for several seconds and responds with "Well.........the stock market is gonna come back strong" Like as if that statement is meant to impress Woodward.

 

Like, no liberal can stereotype core Republican beliefs the way Trump just does within those 30 seconds. Its stunning.

 

He really doesn't care about people. Or just doesn't really notice people, in general.

Trump: "So you think the virus supersedes the economy?"

 

Woodward, responding immediately like as if its not a hard question: "Oh sure. But they're related as you know"

 

Trump: "Well....a little bit."

 

Woodward, legit stunned and reacting like as if he's talking to a teenager: "OH? Little bit???"

 

I've never seen Woodward not talk like an absolute robot until that exchange.
