Well I’d expect. But if they drop switch to 199 with super switch at 399, they’re in a good spot.

I think the price of the current Switch models will drop and the new pro model will launch at 300.

This is going to replace the current model as this current chipset is going out of production. Unless Nintendo has millions stockpiled..

and the remaining stock will get a price drop and the new model will take its place.

It's supposed to have a bigger screen, new CPU/GPU, more RAM probably more expensive battery etc. It's just an optional upgrade you can always get a vanilla or lite model if you want cheap.

I wonder if Nintendo is able to still have those nVidia Tegra chipsets still manufactured at this point.

 

It may be an issue where nVidia is raising the costs of manufacturing, that they don't really save any money by sticking with the Tegra X1 chipset.
