The area looks very similar to the opening area of MGS1, same camera shots, enemy movements.

 

Rats in vents.

 

And when he opens a box, oranges come out.

 

 

Very odd, considering this trailer does nothing to inform you about what is in the director's cut of Death Stranding (coming to PS5)

Just Kojima having some fun I think.

 

Maybe the game has new stealth missions added to it or something... but I doubt it's alluding to Kojima having anything to do with a new Metal Gear game.

 

 

Although I'd love to be wrong on that one.

The likely answer is it’ll just be an extra chapter with missions that takes influence from MGS games with several nods to MGS but nothing actually involving or referencing MGS.
