Check out this twitter thread Noahpinion posted. It's about possible global conflict if Taiwan gets attacked by china. - He speculates World War 3.

It seems like the future is going to be troubling, nevertheless. It's going to be a challenging time.

It’s too bad we have a spineless old man leading the country who’s getting trampled on by other world leaders. The meeting with Putin was pathetic and China probably feels more empowered now than they have in a long time.

How was the meeting with Putin pathetic and spineless?

Did Biden fail to criticize Putin to his face for interfering in American elections like Trump did back when they were both standing there answering questions by the press back in 2017?

So the deal with Taiwan is pretty important, because if you haven't been noticing in several industries, the heart of the Semiconductor industry that is responsible for the most cutting edge processors that go in your phone, your computer, your smart products, and into most modern automobiles, is HEAVILY in Taipei.

And western countries have pretty much been standing behind Taiwan, rather silently. The hope is that China would recognize that the west supports Taiwan, and China wouldn't dare try anything.

But, western countries are hedging their bets, because WHY should all of our most important industries be at the mercy of a factory in Taiwan?

That's just not smart, for many reasons.

America (corporations) made a mistake around the late 2000's. And so did other countries like Italy, Israel, UK, and Germany. They all started closing their Semiconductor fabrication plants and started moving production over to Asia/Malaysia. Or outsourcing it.

We used to have cutting edge fab plants in the northeast and throughout California and the Northwest. And most of them closed down or shrank severely.

Now, we're rushing to build new fabs again in America. But that is going to take like 5 to 7 years to get those up and running.

So, right now, its important to keep Taiwan off of China's hands, but we need to ensure that we don't ever need to rely on Taiwan, and several western countries are scrambling on doing that.

You mean the meeting Trump had with Putin where he sided with Putin (about Russian interference) over the entire American intelligence community.

Then it comes out that Russia did interfere after all and Trump still bent over for Putin?

Or when Trump cucked for Putin and let Russia back into the G7? (Obama-Biden admin had got Putin removed) :trump:

What's interesting is for the last four years the right has been sucking Putin's dick.... "bbbbut we should be improving relationships with Russia, not condemning them"..... "bbbbbut if we criticize Russia it may start world war III".... and now that we have a democratic administration the right now all of a sudden don't want  any US Russia relations.  😂🤣

and now even though in less than a year Biden after the first meeting with Putin in which Biden spelled out to him that he will be dealt with... the right things that Biden is too soft on Putin.... lmfao.
