Twinblade★ 4,214
Quote The Good Fast, engaging combat that evolves over the course of the game Special powers and flashy psychokinesis attacks add visual and gameplay flair Fun character interactions with your teammates throughout The Bad The story gets messy pretty quickly and never recovers Sidequests add very little to gameplay or setting https://www.gamespot.com/reviews/scarlet-nexus-review-the-ties-that-bind/1900-6417692/ Interestingly enough, the game lets you choose between 2 characters (a guy and a girl) and apparently the girl's story is actually better than the guy's. So that might be having an effect on the reviews. The GS reviewer apparently played through the entire guy's story but only a portion of the girl's.

I can understand why reviewers wouldn't want to do that.

Twinblade★ 4,214
IGN's review is up (8.0) and they had the opposite experience of GS when it came to the story. But unlike them, they actually played through both campaigns to completion and apparently, they are actually unique: Quote First off, it’s split up into two separate 20-hour campaigns that each follow the story of one of the two main characters: Yuito and Kasane. While their journeys do overlap from time to time these are, for all intents and purposes, two distinct and equally essential campaigns that you can play in either order, and completing them both is required to get a full understanding of Scarlet Nexus’s story. So yeah GS definitely dropped the ball
Voidler 1,681
Pretty sure there are multiple instances where its obvious GS haven't finished a game they review
Twinblade★ 4,214
right on the front page yet their reviewer only played through one of the campaigns.....GS has no credibility nowadays.

Twinblade★ 4,214
I think it bodes well for MS if we can start assuming whether or not a newly released game is available on gamepass the library of new games on there must be steadily getting bigger and bigger.
