Nah I have intentionally stayed away from actually playing it, I prefer to play it for the first time when it actually releases. Still find that more exciting. The 6900XT is a faster GPU than the 3090 in a wider array of resolutions, mine particularly as opposed to yours because I actually play games. 16:10 was a blip in terms of aspect ratios, that is exactly why I said it was the Windows Vista of aspect ratios. 4:3 was the standard for the longest of times, 16:10 came into the fray but 4:3 was still dominant throughout its existence due to LCD technology being incredibly sub-par at the time. It wasn't until 16:9 and much better LCD advancement that widescreen aspect ratios were highly sought after and adopted. When 4:3 was the main aspect ratio and CRT's were dominant few people were playing at 1600x1200 and beyond because the tradeoffs were not worth it just as 4K is not worth it now. I always had top of the line GPU's back in the day, and they could handle that resolution but the loss in framerate and the loss of refresh rate was unacceptable. You were either at 1024x768 or 1280x960, you would get much better FPS and were able to run much higher refresh rates. That same logic exists today, nothing has changed. If we were trying to compare modern resolution and aspect to that of 4:3 aspect ratios then 1080p was the 1024x768 of 4:3, 1280x960 was the 1440p of 4:3, and 1600x1200 was the 4K of 4:3. When you speak on so many occasions about things from the past it almost comes off as third party as if you weren't even there. It's so hard to take you seriously, because the clear gaps in your knowledge cause you to unintentionally speak to basically the exact opposite of what was and is taking place.
