Like I get that not everyone is going to like a certain style, but it's not ever worth attacking people and harassing them over it.  I think it looks awesome and nice and colorful.

I'm shutting down the thread.  People are just being mean and I'm having to delete Hermit attack comments.  It's an amazing thread and everyone here is very proud of it.

By the way, sorry to be off topic but I didn't want to start a thread. I started Hylics 2 and it's really cool, if you play it use a controller though. There's a lot of running, jumping and gliding, reminds me a bit of Mario RPG in that regard, there's coins all over the environment lol. It's on sale for the summer sale event.

It's much better than the first. Feels like the dev found his groove and could make the game he always wanted to make. While Hylics 1 was the prototype. Know what I mean? I loved both though, obviously.

Yeah I feel ya.  I can get a sense of that even just looking at the screenshots on the store page.  Looks bigger, better, and more fleshed out in every way.

I heard the first one was made with RPG maker. Actually took him years.

 

I have no idea if it's the case with the second one but if it is then he's some kind of wizard. Took him 5 years to make the sequel.
