I'm actually looking forward to this because I never really played the monkey island games and it gives me another reason to try it again. 

 

I'm not sure what title was that I played but it started in a ship and then there were a few sequences outside the ship in the water etc. I think it was the most popular one: curse of monkey island. 

 

I just couldn't get into the style tbh, it was the beginning I get that, but none of the characters or jokes "clicked". The jokes seemed awful and repetitive. I have played worse p&c adventures tho.....

 

the artstyle is absolutely fine

Started playing through the first one again.  Going to play through all of them leading up to the Return to Monkey Island.

 

The theme song is so beautiful.  Beautiful composition.  Gives me so much nostalgia.. and it's so chill.
